Report This Shop not working?

Has anyone had trouble reporting a shop in the past couple of days?  I click the Report  this shop to Etsy link on the shop's home page, select the appropriate reason, type something in the box and hit the Report This Shop button. The button goes gray and window just sits there open. In the past, the window would close and I'd get a message at the top of the page saying my report was submitted, or something like that. I wonder if Etsy is tinkering with the Report This Shop feature now. 

Just to clarify, I was able to report a single listing, but not the whole shop from the link on their home page.

If it says your report has been submitted, it is working fine.  Probably grays out to keep you from submitting duplicate reports.

It doesn't say my report has been submitted.

It just sits there with the window open and the Report This Shop button grayed out. I've let it sit there to see if it eventually goes through and nothing happens.

It's not working.  You can report listings but not shops.

This feature has been disabled (broken?) since late last week. Many sellers have reported that they are seeing it as well.

The question is "why".

Are they fed up with all the reports and are trying to put a stop to it? And while we can still report individual items, it is a lot more work than reporting one shop whose entire inventory is counterfeit GUCCI and D&G merch.

Is the feature broken? Not seeing an update from admin about this here, I doubt it, so I'll go with the previous explanation.

All in all, it's not an encouraging development when we have been told by admin in these fora that instead of ganging up on resellers/counterfeiters, we should report their shops.

Thanks for clarifying that. I did do a search of the forums before posting but nothing came up. 

I've tried to report two shops in the past two days. I'd rather report a whole shop than a single listing.

This seems to happen every 6 months or so.  There was a time last year when I could report listings but not shops.  I thought it was my computer but no, it was Etsy.

Yes , I had this error yesterday when I saw shop , which entire inventory was prohibited and very prohibited items .

But after restart I manage to do it .

This is a HUGE problem.

I not only use this button to report illegal shops, I use it to report HACKED shops when a shop owner comes to the Forum saying Etsy is not returning their emails or doing anything about the illegal activity.

It has worked speedily in the past (as far as I can tell with the lack of info from Etsy Admins).

This NEEDS to get fixed, or they need to tell us WHY they refuse to fix it.

I too had been using it to help hacked shops. 

If intentional, it's pretty self-explanatory, they just don't want to play anymore.

If broken, get with it Etsy and FIX IT!!!

I don't have the Report This Shop feature on my  iPhone app.

I chatted with someone today about it. They said they have no intention of taking that feature away and thanked me for reporting it. She tried it on her end and it didn't work for her, either.

So I guess we could all report it in a chat.....

Oh and I did it as a buyer, not a seller.

I just tried it and it didn't work. But they haven't taken down anything I have been reporting either.

Seems to be working OK. I have just successfully reported a shop for selling supermarket instant noodles. Well, I say successfully, but the way things are going, Etsy will probably just let them carry on their merry way....

The report shop button finally worked for me today after NOT working at all since last Friday.
I could report a listing but not the entire shop that was selling "brand name" snacks. Some of them "best sellers".
4,000 sales on Friday, now 4.026 sales now with ONLY 6 items (and you get free counterfeit stickers with your order also).
That shop has just been selling a little over 1 year.

A shame Etsy can't have a bot to automatically deactivate name brand snacks. They can have bots to remove listings with Amber, Ivory among other words but can't program a bot to remove brand name snacks / candy listed as handmade.

It did for a short time last week, but now the "report shop" button is greyed out again.
