Photos are all distorted

I see other sellers are missing photos. Mine are there but all very distorted and weird looking. Anyone else with that problem?

Yes, same here. Before some were missing, now they're ALL distorted (squashed). SIGH.

@PrairieCrocusStudio - The effect reminds me of "fun house" mirrors from my childhood. But it's not fun when another entity does something to interfere with my business.

There was an incident report mailed out to those that choose to receive the emails.

Etsy is aware.

I get those emails. Last one said "RESOLVED".   Ummmm, nope!

@BiBisLilypad   LOL!  I have no clue as to how I stumbled on an option (somewhere) to sign up for those technical status emails. Like most everything else around here it's probably changed, and moved, and changed some more since 2022 which is when I must have signed up as a new Seller. Even the emails themselves haven't clued me in (I checked for you), as there is only an option to "Unsubscribe".  These emails haven't proven to be super helpful to me, BUT I want to receive ANY/ALL communication from the powers-that-be than none at all.

@SeasideRoseCreations - I got those emails. Sadly, Etsy is always extremely vague in those reports, so I had no reason to check my shop. 

I'd listed 3 things last night that I knew needed better thumbnails, so that's why I went to my shop this morning.

Mine are distorted now also. A few hours ago some were missing, but then reappeared as usual...now distorted. How are we Etsy sellers supposed to be successful with Etsy making all these negative enhancements?

I'm seeing it too. Any photos that aren't cropped to square have been stretched to square. It's terrible. How can buyers take my shop seriously if that's what it looks like?

It is not a very popular holiday yet but today is Salvador Dali day! So nice to see ETSY is celebrating along with all the artist that are aware of this holiday. (warning--- silly humor do to being raised on Monty Python. Please ignore.)

Mine are distorted also, and they weren't just a few days ago.  Never have I seen this happen in 13 years on Etsy!  I anything being done??
