Just posting this here in case you haven't read the my items are not showing up for customers in my store on the app posts.
There is a glitch on the app that from reading posts has been going on for around 2 weeks or so where people are unable to see your listings in the app when they visit your shop. It is worth checking out and then letting Etsy know if it is happening with your shop.

I just got notified by a customer that they can only see ONE of the almost 3,000 listings in my shop when using the app. My poor customer was freaking out because apparently, she has been trying for days and thought I was closing down. I renewed a sold out listing last night and that one showed up for her in the app, so she decided to reach out to me. I'm glad she did because apparently, she hasn't been seeing ANY of my listings in the app for at least the past 4 to 5 days!
I reached out to customer support, and they said the engineering team is trying to work on fixing the issue... so it's apparently known now at least. My customer was good enough to switch to her computer because she really needed supplies for her projects, but she said it "felt weird" because she has always used her app. I sure hope the engineering team can get a fix! I believe the new statistic for Etsy buyers has been over 50% of users now use the app to browse/purchase, so the app not working is HORRIBLE for the busiest time of the year!! (Anytime really, but super bad for this time of the year.)

Etsy: We encourage everyone to use the app.
Also Etsy: We updated it so no one can find the items on the app.
I often wonder how visible items really are because there seems to be a lot of obstacles.

Not good. Many Customers will not switch over to a browser. They'll figure if they can't find what they're looking for, off they go. Honestly, I don't have that kind of patience (with certain things anyway); things which should work correctly and do not.

@ChillwolfArt I am that exact way... I don't want to switch. It KILLS me to have to tell my customers they need to switch to their computer or a browser! The ONLY reason the customer was willing to do it was because her only local store, that had similar items, closed down and she loves the selection that I have and needs products to make for HER business. It drives me bonkers when things do not work the way they claim they should! I'm the type that closes the browser out when it doesn't open within 10 seconds... and nowadays, that's a patient person.

Sorry to say, but only 24 of your 3029 items are visible on your shop's app as of today 10-26-2024.
Sadly, it's lost views, visits and sales for you while the engineering team has supposedly been working on it.

@SnappyBaby @ChillwolfArt Same...I have no patience for things that don't work the way they are supposed to! And since this is the whole purpose of Etsy (a place for us to sell our stuff!) it is ridiculous that this HUGE problem is STILL going on...for at least 3 weeks!!

I noticed this happening last night using the Etsy app as I was perusing one of my favorite suppliers shops. They have over 2000 listings and I got to the end of the very list quickly and thought there's no way that was 2000 listings I scrolled through. Checked a few other shops and same thing. When I clicked on their shop categories, I was shown additional items, but still sometimes short of what the numbers said was supposed to be in there.

Ugh... add to it now that some of my customers cannot PAY through the app, either. Talk about lost sales! For every one customer that actually reaches out, I can only imagine how many customers just walked away from the purchase instead. So, the ones that CAN see listings cannot pay, but many cannot see the listings in the app. I know it's paranoia, but I feel targeted.

@SnappyBaby That's horrible, sorry to hear that! And so true most customers won't say a thing and will just move on. I'm sure it has to be an app bug and not you specifically. I hope they get these things worked out soon! Have you and the customer opened a ticket? I hope so there isn't anything that can be done if they don't know.

I don’t know what they change this month but my sale have crashed. It is horrifyingly bad. The next three months I do have my sales and I am down like 80%. Sales were better in September than now.
I hope they fix whatever they broke in the October change.

My sales have dropped off a cliff too in the past couple of week which is totally not normal this time of year. I don't know what is happening.

@TCCreatesNow FINALLY, the app problem seems to be fixed…at least on MY phone it is! It has been close to a month. Let’s hope this improves sales, which have been abysmal! Hope all is working correctly on your devices as well!

I'm not a big app user by any means but have been checking it lately to try to figure out what may be going on with it. With some shops, I can keep scrolling and see all their items (no matter how many) -- but with other shops, I can only scroll so far and that's it. I can only see some of their items -- unless I look at the sections. When I can't see all a shop's items by scrolling, what I've discovered is that if I use Sort and choose one of them, I can then scroll and see all the shop's items. I'm not an app expert, but it seems like something is amiss here. Two of my friends, who only use the app, have told me that they can't see all my items.

@MoonstruckCottage That's good information to have! And if it is hard for the customer to figure out how to see all the listings for a shop they may not try to figure it out. Crazy app bugs! Maybe you can let Etsy know what you have found so they can start working on that too?

I'm not a big app user either and am not very tech savvy.
But I'm been dealing with the same problem with my items not showing up on the app.
When I check your shop using my phone app, I'm only seeing 24 listings instead of the 88 items that you have for sale.
(When you go to the your shop's menu on the app, you have to choose "recent" instead of "relevance" in order to see all of your 88 items. but how many prospective buyers take the extra step to select "recent" ???
It's a app glitch that Etsy has been aware of for a few weeks. In the meantime, it make you wonder just how many views, visits and sales have we sellers missed.

@SweaterZoo I am also only seeing 24 items in my shop! If I use Sort, then I see them all. Crazy. My shop is small, but I do have repeat customers who check my shop pretty regularly. Who would know (repeat customers or not) that they have to sort by Most Recent or Highest Price or whatever to see all my items?
You have 182 items, but I am only seeing 150 -- unless I use Sort. I wonder if everyone is seeing the same results in the same shops or if it varies.

I don't use mobile devices at all, so I am running blind.
When you navigate to a shop on the app, does the sort default to Relevance or does it default to what the seller specified - either Custom or Most Recent.
I ask because there was a glitch earlier in the month where entering a shop on a Relevance sort did not display all items, and left blank spots where some listings should be.
I only did a little bit of testing at the time but it appeared to be for US shops only & the sort seemed to favour listings with US shipping of $5.99 or less.
The problem seems to be fixed now for non-mobile devices.

@DaysofYoreTreasures Yes, the sort defaults to Relevance on the app. That's what I'm seeing, anyway.
