Etsy ads have stopped working

Hi, has anyone ever experienced Etsy ads out of nowhere stop showing views and clicks and also results are not displaying in the market place?

I have been using Etsy ads for a while and I've always got views and clicks and when I ad new listings I get views within minutes. 

Today I increased my budget and since then i noticed strange behavior in my Ads for the next few hours (No new views on any listing)

I know there is definitely something wrong because I've used ads enough to know the behavior and daily patterns.

I have contacted support but yet to hear back from them, I'm guessing it may take a day or 2.

Does Etsy still shows your ads when searching for your products though?

Yes, actually I just did a super specific search and the ad does pop up

With the explosion in online sellers (including Etsy), there will be a point when there isn’t enough ad space for the amount of sellers who buy Ads.

Also, many on this thread recently opened shop in 2020 or 2021. Etsy gives a “bump” in search when the shop in new....then more shops open who are then given a priority. 

“Stats” don’t always update same day, sometimes they can take 24 hours.

I'm thinking it's just a stats updating issue for the ads which doesn't mean they "aren't working" just that the stats are broken. Especially since some in this thread have said they were billed for clicks even when stats show zero.

Same here, ad stats not updated since yesterday. I'm being charged a higher amount than shown in my ad stats. So there probably were more clicks but they're not showing in stats. So, as long as I can't make informed decisions about what to advertise based on views and clicks, I turned off ads altogether.

Yes, that is my major issue with this.  Often times during the day I check in with the ad stats and adjust accordingly by removing listings that are getting way too many clicks and not converting to sales.  Without any feedback I have no idea if some listings are running my bill up.

Zero click, zero views. Etsy overcharged me too from yesterday, although I checked the entire month of April and the numbers didn't add up. That means there's another day they overcharged me, not just yesterday.

Same thing here. I just messaged them. I have zero views when I normally have over a thousand by now. Not one of my listings has been viewed as an ad. I doubled checked everything is turned on, I upped my budget. Nothing. I noticed it when I woke up this morning, so not sure how long this has been going on. Yesterday I did have views, but didn't spend my entire budget, which is odd.

Etsy stats often get buggy. It's a very common thing. Perhaps the ad stats are broken. That doesn't mean that ads aren't working especially if you have been billed for clicks when stats show zero. If you have been billed then they have been clicked and they are working. It's just the stats that are wonky and broken.

Actually ads didn't stop working. It is just a glitch in an Etsy ads page... hope they will fix it.

do you have sales ?  I have 0 stats views and 0 sales , normally I have about 20-30 sales on weekend . I think something is wrong at all

It's weird... I have no sales, but that's okay for my shop. Today I have 23 visits, and 8 of them from ads. Slightly less than usual, but not critical. Stats page is working for me as usual, just have problem with an Ads page.

Yep. Everyone this is affecting. I was charged 53 yesterday but it only said 22.70 spent. Getting orders from ads today but says 0 0 0 0 across the board. HUGE Etsy Ads glitch today.

Same here. My Finance section shows I was charged for yesterday's (24th) clicks and yet show no activity in the stats. And nothing in stats showing again today. Every day something new (or samo) going wonky. Just so tired of juggling it besides running a shop.

Same here!   I turned off the ads because I can't see what is happening with all zeros.  I spend way too much on these ads to have no idea what is being used.  Hopefully, the ads will get fixed soon.
