Etsy ads have stopped working

Hi, has anyone ever experienced Etsy ads out of nowhere stop showing views and clicks and also results are not displaying in the market place?

I have been using Etsy ads for a while and I've always got views and clicks and when I ad new listings I get views within minutes. 

Today I increased my budget and since then i noticed strange behavior in my Ads for the next few hours (No new views on any listing)

I know there is definitely something wrong because I've used ads enough to know the behavior and daily patterns.

I have contacted support but yet to hear back from them, I'm guessing it may take a day or 2.

Same 100.00 ad budget with not one view click or anything. Allow 0000s since yesterday at noon. Etsy FIX! Ads aren't showing I  search either.

Hello!  I noticed this yesterday too and started this thread also.  I have been in touch with Etsy support today too and hopefully this can get resolved.  I was counting on the ads working for the weekend traffic.

Suddenly no sales for almost 2 weeks, which I guess is feasible, but not characteristic.  I signed up 2 days ago for a coupon for customers with merch in shopping cart, but no emails have been sent yet, and no activity.  Might be unrelated, but I've been unable to "sign out" of my shop for 4 days.

There are a few specific criteria for receiving those offers, they aren't just automatically sent to everyone who fav's or carts an item. They also aren't sent retroactively so those who had items in cart when you set up the offer won't be eligible to get one. Most importantly the user has to have opted in to receiving promotional emails from etsy in their account settings to even be eligible to receive one.

It's a good idea to try to manage expectations with those offers. I have been using them for 3 years now (both recently fav and abandoned cart) and in my experience they are just not very effective or used very often which is likely why etsy stopped charging for them(they used to cost 10 cents per email sent). We have had thousands of offers sent but they have only been used like 25 times if that in 3 years time. The math works out to roughly 1%...just 1% of those who were sent a coupon actually used them.

Oh apparently ads are working despite not being able to find mine and stats saying I spent 22 yesterday...was billed 53 for yesterday. Cmon etsy!

I noticed the same thing! I have my budget set at $100. The stats show I spent $15.77 but my bill shows I was charged $29.00. I’m just so frustrated!I have been using ads for years with success and now I’m just dumbfounded! None of my items are showing in search and the ads, which I rely on, have all but disappeared!

My ads have been wonky for almost 3 weeks. I’ve been using Etsy ads for years with a higher daily budget and it never failed to produce results. My budget was always used up before the end of the day. Around Easter I noticed the budget wasn’t even coming close to being used up and I just assumed it was because of the Easter lull....well three weeks later and it’s gotten even worse. I set my budget to $100 and it made no difference. I also tried advertising more items and no difference. My ads that would normally show up have disappeared. My listings, which vary but generally place well in search, have disappeared. Emailed Etsy and they gave me the usual, everything is working on our end, but clearly somethings off. I will try again but in 6 years of operating on Etsy this is the worst I’ve seen in a long time! And I’ve also noticed today the stats show zero ad views etc! And yesterday my stats show $15.77 used but I was charged $29.00 for yesterday! Ugh! Can someone at Etsy address this!!!

yes, I agree with all above.  Since Easter my ad budget is not even close to being used, which again is unusual for me too, and the clicks which can vary, were really all over the board, from 1 cent to close to 60 cents, and then the next day they were all closer to 37 cents without any lower clicks.  I have used ads quite a bit over the past few years and my budget would always be used up but I was also getting sales from them too, but now it's so hit and miss.  Today I also have all zeros.

I experienced the same thing however I think the reasoning for less of our ads being found is because of all the Etsy commercials and the millions of people who have come in to sell on Etsy. Yesterday and today though no clicks no charges no nothing

You've broken down what has been happening to us, for the most part.  We set the budget at 100 as well, just to see, and nothing.  It's been this way for weeks.  Very strange!

My products that worked yesterday were 0 views, 0 clicks today. I have a daily budget of 10 dollars. Also, my store does not appear in the search section, but opens when I go to the link.

Your shop and listings aren't indexed. You need to contact Etsy support directly and specifically say your shop is not indexed.

I noticed a dramatic drop (only 1 view) all day Thursday. Seems to have gone back up some since then. Wonder if they were maybe tinkering with things so ads weren’t working?
