100 Free Listings Disappared

I redeemed 100 Free listings to my store via etsy.com/promotions and I have listed 4 listings free via that promotion. But today when I tried to post my next listing the promotion I had redeemed was gone from my account. Is there a way to get that back? I had 96 more free listings and now it's no longer shows on my listing dashboard which is pretty sad

I think it's not normal, I've been on ETSY since 2014 and I put items on sale and ETSY makes a selection for these 100 product sheets, not great this way of proceeding! So the old sellers don't matter, I'm more and more disappointed by this platform especially since it seems that some people are assigned these 100 product sheets when they haven't received the basic email but by claiming ETSY their offer and the others nothing!

Donc les anciens vendeurs n'ont pas d'importance, je suis de plus en plus déçue par cette plateforme surtout qu'il semble que certaines personnes se voient attribuer ces 100 fiches produits alors qu'elles n'ont pas reçu le mail de base mais en réclamant ETSY leur offre et les autres rien !

Well im neither a new seller or a multi platfrom seller.

Iwas sent the orginal email, used the code got my free listings, lost them, responded to the 2nd email that required a bit of basic shop info, got free listings back , today they have gone again !

In that case, can you confirm if the email included verbiage stipulating how the coupon code could be used or shared?

The original email said free listings are restricted to be used for new listings only, and valid until 31/08/2022. standard T&Cs apply. At the end of the T&Cs is says it says something about not sharing codes.

this isn’t exactly what the original email said just so I don’t get in trouble from Etsy.

I heard about the 100 free listings through Marmalead and went to use the code Wednesday morning but it didn't work. Interesting is all I have to say.... And typical Etsy.

Yes, my free listings are gone also. Really ticks me off! I went through a link that was posted on FB, so OK i can understand that. But how UNFAIR to give them to some sellers & not to EVERYONE! And even more so, if i was not eligible, why did i get them in the first place!?

I might have a very small business, but i have been here since 2006. I've been through & accepted many changes without a word, but this is just TOTALLY UNFAIR to the sellers who are loyal to a fault.

Nope you were given the listings with an invite to give Etsy feedback via a survey, you didn’t have to do the survey before using / getting the code for the free listings.

@ifrogcrafts right? mine are gone too...but I agree, why not send the survey to everyone and reward those that fill it in. I've done plenty of Surveys for Etsy and never got one thing for it. Plus so many of us are helping other Sellers here in the Forums and don't get rewarded for it.

Etsys completely random and I agree it’s totally unfair  ! No one seems to have the free listings now !

There was also a video posted on YouTube by someone on etsy making the 100 free Etsy listings known to everyone and giving instructions on how to claim them. For something that was for a select group there was nothing done to keep it controlled or restricted.

I was told by Etsy that the 100 listings were for new shops only and that is why we lost the rest of the free listings. There was nothing anywhere in the link that said this is for new shops only, it said it was for new listings.

No matter what the reason for stopping the promo, they should just honor all of the ones that got grabbed up, for their mistake.

@AJsPlanet agreed...it's like sending someone the wrong package, can't ask for it back, they get to keep it and then send out the correct one as well. I've  filled out many Survey's  for Etsy over the years and have never been rewarded for it. Etsy Genie...c'mon, lol

@AJsPlanet  I don't think it was for new shops hence I started my store last month and my store is quite new, but still they took down the free listings. And I escalated an email to Etsy support team and they informed the same thing that they deactivated the code since it was unauthorisedly released.

(I completely forgot about the 100 free listings deal.  Have no problem laughing at myself either.  Have a hard time keeping up at times)

Hi all

I got my free listings, then I got a message to say they were being removed, with the explanation that's already been mentioned (ie people sharing the code), but in the same message it said they would be returned, after the 15th July. Now 19th, no listings, wondering if anyone else has had their remaining free listings returned?
