Isn't this rude?

I don't know every rule of etiquette, but I was really irritated a while ago when I received a convo from a seller who I featured in a treasury. Her item was the last in the bottom row. She said:

"Thank you for the feature. However, I feel that my item fit your theme very well, and I was disappointed that it was not in the top three rows. I think that it had more right to be there than some of the items that were given those spots."

WHAT? How rude! I said nothing in response, and replaced her item with someone else's. I have never received a negative comment from someone who I had featured in a treasury. I mean, it is a good thing to be in a treasury, isn't it? Someone has to get the last spot, and the last spot really isn't that bad...

Have you gotten anything like this? Do you think I have a right to be SUPER annoyed?

I am actually shocked that someone would reply in that manner! Rude People! There are thousands of sellers on Etsy and if I get featured in a slot of 16 I am so very thankful no matter where that is!

Hmmm... sorta selfish thinking. Sometimes I put the most eye catching item in the bottom corner because I want the viewer to end the treasury with a BANG! I try to put everything in an order that flatters the unique qualities of each individual item...

What can you say tho...? "Learn your manners!" LOL!

Reminds me of a book my mom used to read to me when I was little. It was titled "The Goops and how to be one" These little creatures had no manners and were always getting into trouble. Guess, she took the title to heart. :)

im sure no one makes treasuries in any kind of order... i know i dont. i just put items together and the first item featured is the first one i found. the last item featured is the last i found.

i think i would have not replied as well... what do you say? and im glad you replaced the item with another - ha!

I would definately replace her item with another who appreciates the fact that I chose their item to be in my treasury in the first place.

I am always honored just to be in someone's treasury. It means they took the time to choose me for one of there spots and they could of chose someone else. Also treasuries take time and thought, so the person should be greatfull that they are in the treasury in general!

That is incredibly rude, even if she felt that way she should never have shared it with you. Honestly I don't understand why treasuries aren't just three rows to begin with as those are the ones that show up on the FP if the treasury makes it. Is it because an included item may be deactivated by the seller or the listing might expire in the time it's up and there would be a blank spot?

That is crazy! When I make a treasury I try to make sure similar items arent next to eachother and that items that have been featured more than once I will put them on the bottom row, to give less seen items more views.

That is just soooooo sad.
I have been featured in a few treasuries and never even thought about "where" I was positioned. I was just thrilled that someone thought enough of my item to put me in their treasury.
I just put mine together in the order I find them.

You have every right to be annoyed. Any time I have been featured in a treasury I feel honored that someone took the time to like and add my items. How sad they did not see it the same way.

Just when you think you have seen and heard it all, someone like this person shows up! I guess we as humanity are always learning.

I would be thrilled to be included in a treasury not annoyed because I made the last spot! Being in a treasury means that someone likes your art/craft enough to include you with the other 15 people chosen. It also gives you a chance for others to visit your shop. To me, that person is an idiot and someone I would never buy from!!!

When i make treasurys, its not based on ranking... its what looks good were, not 1 - 12 :/

One time, a shop I featured in a treasury messaged me back that their item did not fit the theme because the rest of the items were assembled and theirs was made from scratch....Unbelievable what people believe of themselves!!!
