Isn't this rude?

I don't know every rule of etiquette, but I was really irritated a while ago when I received a convo from a seller who I featured in a treasury. Her item was the last in the bottom row. She said:

"Thank you for the feature. However, I feel that my item fit your theme very well, and I was disappointed that it was not in the top three rows. I think that it had more right to be there than some of the items that were given those spots."

WHAT? How rude! I said nothing in response, and replaced her item with someone else's. I have never received a negative comment from someone who I had featured in a treasury. I mean, it is a good thing to be in a treasury, isn't it? Someone has to get the last spot, and the last spot really isn't that bad...

Have you gotten anything like this? Do you think I have a right to be SUPER annoyed?

Oh you can believe that I would have replied to her with something like "Are you kidding me???"

By the way, if you want to send me a private convo with her shop name, I'll be sure not to disappoint her with my placement choices in any of my future treasuries! I'll just leave her out!!! LOL!

Honestly how much time does this person have to complain about their position in a treasury - you've got to be kidding me! At first I thought this was a joke! Just hit the delete buttton, never feature them again and know that 99.9% of the people you feature in a treasury are totally grateful and happy no matter where their item is!

Some people are just unfreaking believable! Thats one of the rudest things I've ever heard of. I can't imagine ever being anything but grateful that someone has featured me. The nerve!

You did the right thing by ignoring her. Don't respond in anyway, there is no getting through to these type of people!!!

Lame! I love being in and making treasuries. To be honest, I don't put them in any particular order, just the order that they end up in. When I look at treasuries, I don't look at any rows in particular, but I always look at all of them. That person is lame. :) Like I tell my kids, "You get what you get and don't throw a fit!" Same should apply to that person. :)

Wow... that is rude. I was featured in a treasury today... the lady convoed me to let me know (which I don't mind) and asked me to click, share, and favorite and I did... and then she replaced my item... ughh... that drives me nuts!!!

You got to be kidding me! I agree with everyone's comment. What I love about Etsy is how supportive everyone is of each other's shop. It takes alot of nerve to send that kind of note. When I do a treasury, I don't pay much attention to the placement ... I just try to make the overall assortment flow.

This is just so very, very rude. What is it about the internet that people become so thoughtless and mean? I am a very sensitive person and I have a tendency to take things personally, even if I try not to. I would never walk up and say something like that to someone's face so why would I ever do it online? I suppose its much easier to be rude if you don't have to look someone in the eye.

You did the right thing. If she is going to complain about not having a good "spot" then she doesn't deserve one at all. I may be trying to run a small business and be successful but in the end, the way you have treated people is what matters.

I have to agree with everyone else... how terribly disrespectful! Most people are thankful to be in a treasury. I was excited!!! I suppose you don't want to reveal the name so we all know not to include that person in our treasuries LOL!

I think the economy is hitting us all where it hurts. We will rise above it and produce the best possible product and maintain a positive outlook. It may or may not see us through but we won't have to regret anything.

I'm sure your former favorite is feeling as desperate as we all are but handling it poorly and that is not an excuse but a possible explanation. She might learn something out of this.
