yep tory, i'm having fun browsing around there when i should be doing paper work. i had a cancellation and got a 30 min opening- so what do i do with that found time? great. uh huh.

i agree- i also think the ones that look like folded origami are kinda cool but then i've had a weird fascination with origami since childhood. i used to make tiny little origami critters and put them in all my xmas cards every yr- tiny like the size of your fingernail.

Esme---Yasmin is the spitting image of my Dear Anna!!!!!! Including the torty paw! Love that photo of her. Do you know what breed she is? I always wondered with Anna because she had been a rescue.

Sue--I second Laura on getting another cat. It really helped mine to overcome the void (and us too!).

Ok...caught up.

Sue...I think a kitten might bridge the void. It caused my two older cats to bond over the sheer craziness that the kitten caused. Now they all get along great. There are still scuffles from time to time...but it's mostly small now. Anna was like Cricket..shy, didn't get along with other cats well. Hissed at everyone. I think it had a lot to do with her petite size. (and her part siamese breeding, lol). She was a character of a cat. Miss her everyday.

Yep...having a kitten in the house is just fun. Love Ginger to pieces! She's so funny, sweet and caring. Gets along with everyone, and just loves life. She's also a talker...thinks I should understand everything she's saying, lol. :)

Chrissi, Yasmin has a birma mother and a ragdoll daddy. She has wide ragdoll paws and ragdoll coloring on paws and tail, but birma otherwise. She's as talkative as her mother was when we met her. :)

Well, had to commit to another very large silver order, my supplier shuts down the custom order stuff for a summer break, June 13 the last chance to order until July 18.

Could have it held until say early July but don't feel like gambling on the price. What's your choice, a whack over the head now or maybe two whacks with July prices?

And ordered a flexshaft. Some days you spend.

Off to town to cool off after all the excitement.

Thanks Esme...I'm not sure what Anna was...but she looked just like Yasmin. So much so, I thought I was seeing a picture of her :) Brought back good warm memories. I miss her dearly. :) She was chatty also...and fiercely protective. As a rescue...I think she had some really traumatic things happen in her past before she came to us, but learned to overcome a lot of them..and once she felt safe, then she was forever loyal.

Went with Capilano, but I'm glad I asked for a check of the price - the sale had ended but they hadn't changed the website yet so I will get it for $250 and not the normal price of $270. So thanks for that.

She checked and said it does have the #30 handpiece, the web pic looks different.

She was Esme, and I will always love her. :) I see a lot of Anna's spirit in my kitten. She's even picking up a few of the favorite little things that Anna used to do...like hang out behind my head on the sofa, and come visit me first thing in the morning. :) Kitties are just the best.

Ok...gotta head out. Barn duty tonight, and I'm hoping to get a bit of a ride in.

I'm supposed to pick T up at the airport tonight, but now his first flight is delayed 2 hours, insuring that he will miss his connection. Ugh. The best part is that he was fishing in Florida, so his suitcase is now sitting somewhere with frozen fish in it. I can't wait to smell his clothes, yuck!
