morning guys- i hate spiders so i hope you all are done showing disgusting pics of them! when i became a teenage i wanted my own room- so my parents built a bedroom in our finished basement. well, it got me away from my 2 little sisters but it was still a basement and i had frequent encounters with large spiders. i would pull back the sheet and a big one would run across the bed or, the worst, i woke up to find a huge spider coming down on a web and it landed on my face. <shivers>
i am happy to say i have never eaten one though :P
i just have to get through this one last hellish day at work and then the weekend. fridays before a holiday weekend are the busiest. anyone who feels a twinge of anything coming on wants to get in cause "they can't be sick for the holiday". i get it, just makes for bad days for docs.

Good Morning!! Happy Canada Day!

I don't like spiders either, although I appreciate the webs and their other bug eating qualities. We found a HUGE one in our laundry room last year and I almost messed my pants. it was at least 3" across. Even Ben paused before slapping it with a shoe. Freaking huge. Our new master bedroom will be in our basement so no more spider stories, ok?

Esme, could be. Everything is odd this year. I seem to have moved to the coast, and north. Getting coastal levels of rain, almost everyday in June, and right now it's 33°F. This is normally a fairly dry climate, lots of natural grasslands.

Spiders here are rarely more than 1", and I like them. For me snakes are not a personal favourite though.

I'm a weird one, spiders fascinate me though I definitely wouldn't want to pick one up. When I find them in my personal space I usually catch them and put the outside.

I LOVE snakes and critters though...:)
