Back to the question TSue asked about flashback arrestors I missed last night.
TSue, I looked at both cyberweld's site and otto frei. I couldn't find a flashback arrestor for the little torch. There is a mention of one that would attach at the regulator, but personally I would need a change of pants if I watched the hoses burn back to the regulator. I want mine at the torch. That being said, there may well be a way to fit some to the torch, but you will have to call otto frye or cyber weld or grainger cust. service to find out what one they have, and I'm sure they do.

Aimee, I've thought about a stlylized MTD for my shop too but, nah, I agree that spelling it out is not spammy.
The B and W is very clean cut and architectural work. Are you going in that direction?

Personally I love all the colour in your work and the naturalness. Yes, your Zombies are VERY natural.

Fresh. Air. - opened the window this morning and listened to the deep tones of my neighbour's heavy tube wind chimes that only stir in the higher winds.

I love the air quality on Hatzic Bench - but now the house is freezing.

aimee- i like the full shop name but i think i agree with lina on this one. that is a very sleek, chic banner and your jewelry is more zany and fun ( that's a compliment BTW). i'm not sure it matches your shop unless you are going to change directions in what you're making. not that it HAS to match the look of your shop, it doesn't, just something to think about.
cg- if you are still feeling punk and you want my help, convo me with SPECIFIC symptoms. i can't diagnose your problem with descriptions like "offness" and "something funny in the middle". haha. if you feel fine, then no worries.

TSue- i didn't see the hoarders show last night, i was visiting with my teacher. rats. sounds like a good one :)

Thanks, Sue. I'm never happy with my banners. I can never find anything or have anyone make something that I'm happy with for very long. Just playing around for now.

aimee- any way that cropping a pic of your jewelry would work as a banner for you? that's what i did with mine. not sure it would work with what you make, but it might be worth playing around with. at least you'll know it matches your shop:)

ok, i'm starting to get a bit excitied. we are going on vacation, leaving this friday. oh man, do i need it. we will be spending time with the inlaws in western MA, then day trips to Lenox, Hudson NY, and a couple days for shopping in Boston. We just got a reservation here-\

it's right across the harbor from the new museum of contemporary art. now, i've got to find a couple great places to chow. any boston recommendations out there? i'll be checking my file on boston but if anyone has rave reviews, lay em on me.

Sue - If you will be in the Boston area I highly recommend the Pompeii exhibit at the Museum of Science. We jaunted down there last week, and its truly truly amazing. the jewelry and metal work is exquisite. and the whole exhibit is breathtaking and at least for me quite moving.

Aimee - I think I agree, something more "energetic" for your banner, so it evokes the feeling in your jewelry. fireworks behind the skyline is a good idea to try. Like that one Erga.
