About Carreras not tipping: tipping is very american and highly confusing for anyone not from there. In China people don't tip. Here you tip when you're satisfied, but not if you're not. It's confusing to me that there should be rules to how much is an okay tipping amount, and then there is tax, to make things even more confusing. Why can't the tax just be included in the price like everywhere else? ;)

Sue, how do you make the cone shapes? Do you cut them out from sheet and then shape and solder together?

The back is still hurting but I'm going to try a walk at the lake with my girl dogs. I have to burn off the potato chips I ate last night. Just like Marcus, I haven't had them in forever. Very fattening!

I'm starting a "travelling box/package" with some destash stones. I work with a certain stone then I get tired of it...I'll see my supplier this week and ask for some donations too.


I'll start with a name list on another thread and then we can plan the box's itinerary. To keep shipping costs down we'll need to keep the distance between towns to a minimum.

I was the DD for some of our adult kids last night, I think they must all have had sleep overs at the last party I drove them to. Didn't get calls to drive them home. No rural taxi service (except me) after 2 am here.
Traveling box sounds like fun.
I don't cook New Years' Day, we order Chinese,sort of a tradition.
