I'm thinking that since rhodium is very hard t probably depends on the abrasive.
Having tried to remove rhodium plating from a very heavy curb chain bracelet - unsuccessfully - my gut feeling is that it will end up patchy as Esme suggests.
It won't tarnish. A bit like chrome on a bumper. But it's a cold looking silver colour, and makes real sterling look like plated cheap jewellery.
The very heavy curb link bracelet I tried to remove it from was given to me in Banff by a customer. He'd been given it as a gift and couldn't stand the look of it....'maybe you can use this'. I still have it somewhere.
it used to be only used much on white gold because people didn't like the natural color of some white alloys that had a yellowish tint and some don't like the gray look, they want bright white. Now most alloys don't have that yellowish tint, like X! white, and so many want palladium white which is nickel free and those don't get plated. I remember when it started becoming popular with plating silver thinking then it doesn't even look like silver
I should be happy that I have tons of dust to share but it’s all either custom or made to order and I wish the orders were spread out more. A nice gentle rain of order would have been nice.

Chrissy the only thing I'm selling is wedding bands- luckily people are jumping all over 22k bands- so nice profit margin, must be a trend someone "famous" started but I'm good with anything that's selling!
I know what you mean Kit- I have pretty much stopped marketing on social media so my sales have slowed. I wanted to slow down a bit so I'm good with that. It's keeping me busy enough to not be bored but with plenty of time to do other things- kayaking has begun!
