My message system was muted (due to long convo on Etsy message)
it’s been nearly 3 months with no resolve. I tried to contact support through chat, made 5-6 tickets. 1 ticket stated they resolved the issue but it’s still not working. Every new ticket I make is now immediately closed.
Now the agent support chat is not working; and if I send an email it turns into a “ticket” that is closed nearly same day.
Im left with no way to contact the support team or check in any tickets as they are all closed.
How do I resolve the issue ? Any ideas ? (Im new shop owner by the way about 3 months in now)
I forgot to mention ~ I am also not able to post on Etsy community chat, so I’m using this account of my alternate shop to post here; my other account had both the message system muted as well as no access to this community

Responsefrom team was “ sorry the bots seemed to get out of hand and it was by accident and the issue is now resolved … but it’s still not working

what does the length of one convo have to do with being muted.
it sounds like you were spamming people.
in messages and the forum.
you have zero sales.
who were you contacting?
I never messaged any users except another shop owner/friend but too long of a convo through message system I guess caused mute. They stated to fix the issue and apologized in ticket response for the bots getting out of hand and that it was an accident and now fixed . Still not fixed
To adhere to Etsy's Terms of Use, you must declare that you have another shop in the public profile of EVERY SHOP.

You must have done something rather egregious for Etsy to mute you for that long.
Because Help keeps closing your chats, they are done talking with you about it.
All you can do is WAIT.
I don’t know why so many shops do it but it’s hard to help when you post from a different shop.
I mentioned this in my own reply above … the bots got out of hand and removed access from community so I can’t post from other account
I am surprised that you would come in here with another account when you have been banned from the forum, there must be a reason why your messaging abilities have been removed for 3 months. If your ability to sell via Etsy has been limited for such a long time and Etsy will not even communicate with you then maybe it is better finding a different platform to sell from, why waste so much time?
The response from team was the bots got out if hand and that’s it’s now fixed, even though it’s still not working I didn’t expect it to drag out thus long. I put too much work into the shop just to let it go due to one small fix .. but apparently it’s taking so long to get resolved
Bots do not ban members from the community, the moderators do and you would have received an email explaining why and how much time your ban is for, did you not receive this?
The shop that was muted has only three sales. So I also ask, who were you messaging that caused the mute? Potential buyers who merely favorited your shop or a listing?
Were you spamming these forums with links to your shop and/or listings and that's why you're also banned here?
Was not slamming at all ~ I didn’t message anyone except another shop owner I met through chat message just discussing shop related stuff
i was able to get in touch with etsy phone serivce - they noted the ticket where escalation team stated message system was muted due to error, and opened a new ticket to have the issues resolved
I hope it gets fixed soon.
