I keep getting enquiries asking for my email address.

Hi. I'm located in New Zealand and am choosing not to ship overseas right now. My shipping options are set for NZ only. 

I saw that it says that listings aren't visible in places you don't ship to? But I've had 3 enquiries in the past week from people who are asking for my email address. All are outside of NZ.

I'm puzzled. Is there a setting I need to fix?

All clues appreciated.

If they are asking for email they are scammers, mark them as Spam and don’t contact them, many  will ask for cc or bank acct info and then steal from you.

No…there’s nothing to fix. This is a known scam that has been proliferating among new sellers. No one needs your email to complete a sale. And Etsy already has it. Send the message to spam and don’t respond. Any real sales will show in your payment account (finances tab), your shop dashboard and on your shop homepage. And right now that homepage shows no sales. I’m sorry. I know how exciting it is to think there is interest in your products, but unfortunately, these people are only out to get your money.

Hi, don't respond to these fools, and Mark as Spam.  A Buyer never needs your email. Scammers are here in droves unfortunately, targeting new and seasoned Sellers.  At the top of the Forum is an Announcement from Etsy re: scams. Stay safe.
