Help. Ok, so it has been more than three days (the time when editing is still available), and for some reason, even though I am sure I input Canada Post as the shipping carrier, the completed order shows DHL (but with the correct Canada Post tracking number). This means the package will arrive, as it was sent properly, but my Etsy listing will never show it as delivered (still saying pre-transit at the moment). Is there something I can do to get that fixed?
No. It happened to me once. I input the tracking wrong and it reverted to Fedex even though it was USPS.
Etsy will not go in and manually change things like this.
@SidekickStreet: Unfortunately Etsy will not change this - in their eyes you had 72 hours to correct the data. We learned a long time ago (pre Star Seller) to take a few moments every day to make sure all of the previous day's shipments were showing at least "In Transit" so we could fix any issues.
Okay. That is the sense I got from researching the question, but wanted to make sure there wasn't a way I could correct it myself. So, what will it mean for me? Does it leave me with a lower rating or something? Does it eventually drop off anyway? How long will it sit as "Pre-Transit"?
@SidekickStreet: The order will stay as "pre-transit" forever. Star Seller will be affected until the month in which the order was scheduled to ship is no longer part of the three month stats period. I don't think Etsy has ever shared publicly what effect, if any, it will have on your internal scoring with them.
