My email address is [This content was removed by moderation - Please refer to our Community Policies]. I guess my orders are having a problem due to this little issue.
Noooo! 1. Remove your email. 2. Anyone asking for your email is trying to SCAM you. Etsy HAS your email. They HAVE your bank and CC info. They are not going to ask you to update it via an email. A customer GETS your email when the sales is completed and they do not need it to complete the sale.
Protect your account from scammers.
This is a scam.
Delete your email from this post.
No one needs your email. There is no problem with orders.
These are scammers asking you for this info.
Please read the new warning, it's embedded in this post if you already dismissed it in your account.
No one needs your email to make a sale. These are scammers, they will email you and ask for CC and bank # to verify your identity, saying they're Etsy, which they are not, just so they can clean you out of funds, they may tell you that you have to have a certain sum in your bank, well yeah so they can steal it. They say they need to remove $ and then will deposit your new orders back which of course they never do. Orders will show on your dashboard and $ will be in your payment account, Etsy has all this already.
You are posting in a public forum, not contacting Etsy. You should probably edit your post & remove your email address. Then read the post about Protecting your account from scammers above.

Etsy already has your email address. This is a public forum and anyone can read things here. You need to remove your email address from your post.
If someone is messaging you telling you they need your email to purchase they are scammers.
That is the latest scam thats been going on for months now. It's definitely a scam and shoppers absolutely do not need your email address to make a purchase. If they sent you screenshots of etsy pages saying otherwise those are fake pages they created for their scam. See this thread for more info and links to photos of the fake pages.

You just gave your email address to everyone who can access these forums.
so, everyone who has internet.
probably. hope you get lots of orders now.
You have NO orders so there's NO problem or issue except the scammers are wanting to steal your money by sending you to a fake Etsy site so you can enter your bank account/credit card info.
If you actually had orders, they would be on YOUR order/shipping page.
There should be a BOX on YOUR message page that states this below.
NOTICE the 1st thing that Etsy says is buyers NEVER need your email to purchase an item.
How to spot and report scams in Messages
If you get a suspicious message asking you to leave our site to share personal info or complete orders, make sure to mark it as spam. Keep in mind:
