So I made a mistake entering tracking info. I messaged the buyer with tr correct tracking number. Now the order is stuck on open orders and my shipping rating took a majority hit. Help me Etsy. Make this order complete and please give me my star seller badge!
@Faircreek: "Now the order is stuck on open orders ..." Even an order with an invalid tracking number should be not be showing as not completed if you marked the order as completed. Etsy will not manually update the Star Seller data or shipping data. It wouldn't let me correct it I tried to correct it immediately and then I sent the correct tracking number to the buyer. The buyer is completely happy. This is not right at all I will need 20 orders to hit 95% now.
OP, you can go to order, add a new package and type in the correct tracking information. Etsy will track that package and it should correct at delivery. Be sure to advise your buyer that there won't be two packages.

you can mark the open order as complete, but it won't fix the star seller status, as you have to mark it as complete, before the ship by date, not just with a valid tracking number
