Hi All,
I have a digital download store, no physical items. 4 Days ago I was place in vacation mode by etsy with a message saying they can review the information within 48 hours (or something similar) once I upload the document.
Have been a start seller month after month for years. Never had a shipping issue obviously due to being a digital.
I have used the support email with no response now for 4 days.
I have used live chat, as of yesterday they stopped responding to me despite 4 different live chat telling me they are reviewing and wait for an email response and 2 of them saying my case has been escalated 2 days ago, which is obviously what they say to get rid of people as nothing has happened and now, no response on live chat despite numerous attempts, nor email support.
I really don't know what to do - what a read bad time of year to do this to a seller and treat them in this manner.
Even some of my messages were diverting to spam asking me how to buy things. I ended up just emailing them the download free as I felt bad for them too.
Any advice would be appreciated.

I'm sorry. This has happened to a lot of shops and no one seems to know how to fix it.
See this thread on Etsy Forum: https://community.etsy.com/t5/Managing-Your-Shop/Forced-vacation-mode-is-attracting-some-attention/m...
Thanks for that. So difficult to understand as we are in the dark. It is inexcusable. The fact that is wide spread gives me no comfort and adds to my frustration. Appreciate your time in responding.
@1Msigns Hi, I'm sorry this is happening to you; the Forum is filled with other Sellers who have had the same thing happen to them. The fact that people do not know why this is happening (because they are not being told by Etsy), is bull. Sellers are handing over their private, sensitive information; quite frankly you don't know who has seen it (or will see it), but you do know there has been no communication. And that's wrong. When a company handles your personal information (as well as dealing with financials), it makes no sense that they can do this. So they only thing I can suggest is to respond to your initial email (instead of starting additional tickets).
Some Sellers have said their Shop has been taken off Vacation, but again, they do not know why it was put on forced V. to begin with. I hope your Shop will be reinstated soon.

I'm not understanding your last paragraph:
"Even some of my messages were diverting to spam asking me how to buy things. I ended up just emailing them the download free as I felt bad for them too."
Why were the Messages going to Spam? (Even with your Shop on forced Vacation, I don't understand why the Messages would immediately go to Spam.)
Thanks @ChillwolfArt The last part was actual messages from purchasers. Unsure if Unrelated to vacation mode, but messages were going to my spam as opposed to inbox.
@1Msigns That's what I don't get though. My Shop is On Vacation now, and I receive Messages every now and then when it's in Vacation mode. They've never go to Spam. I'm wondering if something triggered it, and Etsy caught it, and that's why they went to Spam (just guessing).
@ChillwolfArt may have been a coincidence! Still nowhere with Etsy. Looking at alternatives now! This has really frustrated me!
