Urgent-Security Code Problem

Hello ,

I just changed my password for extra security based on recommendations in my Etsy dashboard, and the change went through smoothly. However, now when I try to log in, I’m not receiving the security code on my phone as expected. I can't access my account through either the app on my phone or on my computer, and I urgently need assistance with this.

My store name is Novapattern. I still have access to my email and phone number, but unfortunately, my backup codes are misplaced.
and unfortunately, my backup codes are lost, which means I can't use those either.

Please, I need someone to help me. I don't know how long I won't be able to access my account, and I can only see that messages are coming in through my email. Delayed responses to messages will negatively affect my shop score, and all the effort I've put in will be wasted. I urgently request your assistance.

This is my only source of income, and as a single mother, your support is truly a matter of life for me. I would be grateful for any help you can provide.

Hello,

The ETA for response varies on a case-by-case basis, and a separate team is handling the ticket you recently filed. Any further communication on the matter, if applicable, will only occur directly with you, and via email.

If you do not have the back up codes, then you have to contact Etsy and wait for a reply.

Once you get back into your account, it might be best to set up your code on an authenticator app, these are backed up and you are not relying on a code being sent or your phone.

Thanks for your reply, I created a request and I'm waiting but I don't know how long it will take for them to get back to me This is really annoying. I really don't know what to do if I don't get a reply.

Thank you very much for your support, I didn't even think someone would reply, thank you very much -I hope the support team will help me as soon as possible -The double verification I activated to protect my account is now really my nightmare

You are very welcome @NovaPattern , I hope someone can assist you with this.

It is always better to have the 2FA, but maybe consider downloading the Google authenticator app, this way you do not have to wait for codes to be sent to you (which can go wrong at times) and if something happens to your phone, there is a back-up in your google account.
