After speaking with an Etsy representative, I have been told that Etsy is aware of the glitch with USPS regarding them citing packages are "unpaid." Can anyone from Etsy share what is being done and where in the process you are? Thanks.
Someone else had something similar happen to them. See this thread:
This is a USPS glitch, and they are aware. However, if you have a package that is impacted by this glitch, and Tracking shows it as "being held", you can go to your local PO, and they can print out a real time Tracking record to show where the package truly is and whether or not it has been delivered.
YES, it has happened to three of my packages. I have called USPS and once I finally got a hold of someone, they were absolutely useless! Waste of time! I then reached out to USPS office of Inspector General and made a claim which was then forwarded to the office of Consumer Affairs in the state I'm in. I called and I was sent to a voicemail. I have left two messages now. It's very frustrating! I see this is happening to other sellers as well. In the past if my package is short on shipping, they just pulled funds from my etsy account. My post office is not very helpful. They tell me I have to do everything online. I have also tried to intercept my packages on usps.com but the alert stops me every time. Very Frustrating! What do I do now?
