Has anyone else run into this issue the past week or two? Our studio has multiple Etsy shops so we switch between them frequently throughout the day. It's been normal for us for the past several months to have issues logging in through a web browser about once a week for roughly half an hour at a time (usually Thursdays for some reason), but it's gotten MUCH worse this week, starting with last Friday. Last Friday (4/5), we were unable to log back in to any of our shops through a web browser from about 1pm ET till we closed for the day at 7pm ET. We're out of the studio Sat-Mon and usually check messages via the app on those days. Tuesday (4/9) we ran into the same problem again, where we went to switch to a different shop to check something and couldn't log in on any of them from about 3:30-4pm ET through end of day. Yesterday (Wednesday 4/10), we were able to log in as usual in the morning till about 10-10:30am ET and weren't able to log in through a web browser for the rest of the day.
We use Chrome and checked that it had recently updated. We also tried clearing the cache, and tried logging in through Edge. We also tried a suggestion from an old post here in the forums from a year or two ago, where someone suggested manually entering the log-in info instead of using the autofill. None of that worked. So far today seems to be fine (fingers crossed it stays that way), but we've also got one shop logged in via an incognito window in addition to having one logged in on the regular browser window, just in case.
We haven't had any issues logging in via the app, but there are some things that are best done in a web browser in terms of shop maintenance, or checking the spam folder to see if messages have gone astray (because yeah, that's happened to us too). Has anyone else had this problem and have any suggestions? We'll be hitting up the Help Center next and submitting a ticket (for what good that'll do us).
