9/21 - Etsy USPS Ground Advantage label purchased for 34x12x12 box weighing 13 pounds from Idaho to Hawaii.
Etsy showed an ETA of 9/21 - 9/26.
9/21 - box dropped off at USPS.
9/22 - checked shipping progress and the ETA had changed to 10/4.
Etsy: Your ETAs for USPS Ground Advantage are out of sync with the USPS.
PLEASE FIX THIS BUG.

I hope I'm understanding you correctly (if not, please correct me). I think Etsy is showing you the longest timeframe for your Delivery Date, to be on the safe side. It may arrive earlier than that, but this is to give you an estimation.
Hope this is helpful.
ChillwolfArt- no, you are not understanding correctly.
Etsy showed an ETA of 9/21 - 9/26 when label was purchased and package shipped on 9/21.
The following day, Etsy showed an ETA of 10/4.
Had Etsy shown an ETA of 10/4 in the first place, I would not have used USPS Ground Advantage.
@RiversEdgeRelics I see what you're saying. I shipped my first package for the year with Ground Advantage. I don't use Etsy Labels, but recall something like this happening. Where the ETA was shorter at first, and I thought What if it takes longer than this. Then after it shipped, my date was extended. But I see that you're saying if you would have known about the longer ETA, you would have chosen a quicker option.
The delivery dates I am seeing in Etsy are TWO WEEKS later than the USPS latest expected delivery date.
Etsy does not set the transit time. It's coming from USPS.
USPS did not show an ETA of 9/21 (the same day the package shipped) to 9/26.
There is no way this large, heavy package could have traveled from Idaho to Hawaii on 9/21 and arrive by 9/26.
A test label was created directly with USPS and it showed the correct ETA of 10/4.
Etsy has a bug that is not in sync with the USPS.
@RiversEdgeRelics: Etsy is still using FIrst Class Package times for Ground Advantage. A 15.99 ounce Ground Advantage packages has an estimated in transit time equal to the old First Class Package times, the same package at 16 ounces will have a USPS estimated in transit time equal to the old Parcel Post times. The difference in estimated transit times can be as much as 15 days depending on which zone you are shipping to. Previously First Class Packages could not excess 15.99 ounces. Surprising that Etsy did not charge shipping based on Priority Mail - all of our orders over 15.99 ounces are showing as shipping Priority Mail.
I had the option to ship Priority Mail for additional cost of $50. Wish I would have done that.
Instead, I chose Ground Advantage as a cost of $112.
Just found this thread, Etsy has a serious problem.
@RiversEdgeRelics: What class of mail did Etsy charge the buyer for?
