Very frustrated! I just spent a good 15 minutes changing a deactivated listing...then posted it and nothing was saved! It said "do you want to activate with changes?" and I did, but it still didn't save anything! Anyone else have this problem? Am I missing something?
I have no problems with using a deactivated or sold listing with the new template. I found it works fine. I use Edge as my browser. I do not use the app,
Some people are experiencing such as you are having so I wonder if that is browser related or extension issues. I have very few extensions on my browser.
Yes, same here. This is a nasty glitch which messes up inventory, and which will likely lead to unhappy customers. Hope they get on this and fix it pronto.
Okay, it works with Chrome, just not with Safari. Hope I can track down all the updates I did yesterday, which apparently did not update. Ugh.
@FableJournal - In this forum, the following thread does include some work-arounds. They don't necessarily work for everyone, but maybe you'll find one that does work for you:

Why should we have to do work-arounds? (which I am using--glad they're there!) They have had a long time to fix the bugs with the new form, and still it doesn't work right. When I go to renew a sold item, it shows an incorrect expiration date, much shorter than the 4 months it should. But I no longer have the option of using the old form in my interface with the site. Aaaaaaargh!
Go figure, Etsy changed something and there are problems, what? LOL
