Fixed keywords- still minimal views one sale

I have trying to sell on Etsy for about 3 months.  My view are so minimal- sometimes 1 per day.  I have had one sale when I first started.  I have had the shop listings deactivated once but this has been fixed and they are all active.  I have tried adding to my titles and especially have researched keywords to use.  This has made no difference.  Has anyone else had this issue?

On the product I looked at, your description shows you don't ship to Canada, but the postage dropdown says you do. Which is it? If you don't ship to Canada,  you have to uncheck it in your Shipping Profile.

Your tags aren't optimized. You are only using 9 of the 13 tags you are allowed on the product I looked at, and tags should NEVER be just one word. Fill each tag as close to the 20 characters allowed as possible. There is no need to repeat words in your tags because Etsy will pull from 2 or more tags to match what was searched for. A tag doesn't even have to be a keyword phrase as long as it can be combined with words in other tags to make one. You don't need to say "Wall Hanging" 3 times. Instead, just put it in one tag and put words that would pair with it in other tags. If you don't repeat, you can usually get 5 or 6 additional tag combinations in the space allowed. Titles and tags, and to a lesser degree the first paragraph of your description, are the main things that get your products found.

You can't rely on Etsy for all your traffic, especially in current times. Social media is the most common free way to bring in some traffic of your own but iot is time consuming to do it right. You need to do more than just drop off links to products if you want anyone to subscribe to your feed. If you use the special links Etsy provides, you get 4% off the fees you pay to Etsy.

Another good way to bring in traffic is an opt-in newsletter. But there is some learning curve on how to do those two things. Do some research before you jump in.

The product I looked at only ships to Australia and Canada. The US is more than half the buyers on Etsy, so you losing a lot of potential sales by excluding them.

your photos seem to crop or be offset in the thumbnails, and photos are used in search, and help people decide whether to click through

one side needs to be at least 2000 pixels, and also, square is best

@ThriftandTweed: In addition to all of the excellent advice, the reality of Etsy and current Etsy search is that you need to initially drive your own traffic and sales so that the algorithm learns that people want what you are selling.

You are only using 3 of the photo slots, and there are no close-up images of the pattern, handle or rim and no picture of the base.  You have no sizes in the description and no photo with a tape measure so I don't know if it's a 1 pint jug or a tiny cream jug from the photos.  Your photos are blurry, the other stuff in the photos is distracting and the colours clash, and the lighting needs to be better.

Your description is very minimal - no information on history, country of origin (you call it Bohemian, but is it actually from that region?), any maker's details, a description of the pattern, and the text says "Gorgeous l, elegant tea time or collector's piece" - a spelling error.

You have postage to me in the UK showing as £13.60.  I am pretty sure you won't get that to me for that price so you will be out of pocket.  Check your shipping profiles and what costs you've set for the various weights of parcel.

I also looked at this listing: https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/1726828708 - you describe it as 'hammered silver' and yet you're selling it for £18.28. If that's actually silver, it's worth an awful lot more, but you show no hallmarks.  It doesn't look like sterling silver, so I assume you meant a silver-coloured metal.  If someone buys that expecting silver and it isn't, they will get their money back.  You need to be absolutely clear in your descriptions so you don't set yourself up for claims as 'not as described'.

If you are going to sell to the UK/EU, you need a GDPR policy, right of withdrawal, and your seller details visible.  You should also write an about section and add yourself as a shop member, and add a shop announcement.  Incomplete shops are downgraded in search so filling all that out will help.

Etsy hides items that break their Terms of Use, so this may be part of the reason you aren't being found.

Robert Gordon ceramic ware isn't handmade & may not even be vintage since it is still available to purchase on many sites.

Items need to be handmade by you, or designed by you with a production partner you include in the listing... OR vintage older than 20 years... Or a supply for making something else.

The kitchen sign also says handmade. ???
