Typed incorrect tracking number

Hello, I used USPS through a vendor outside Etsy. I typed incorrect tracking number in the last digit.

I followed Etsy instructions on Add a Package with correct number and it now displays Delivered.

I have a ding on my Star Seller because of this. 
Does anyone know if its gets corrected/updated given it shows package was delivered.

I discovered mire than three days after I marked order completed.

Unfortunately, no. It will not get updated. Once the time frame to edit tracking number has passed, you are stuck with it as far as star seller goes.

After seeing your post that it has been corrected by Etsy, apologies for the incorrect advice. Also, thank you for letting those of us that were in the dark, know how to fix this situation in the future. I have entered incorrect tracking numbers multiple times, but did not know it was fixable.

OP, you can ask Etsy for help with this tracking problem. Hurry, because the end of the month is near.

@TesoraBoutique: You have three days (might literally mean 72 hours) to update the shipper and tracking number from the time the order is marked as completed https://help.etsy.com/hc/en-us/articles/115015774228-How-to-Add-Tracking-and-Complete-an-Order-?segm...  As far as the Etsy system is concerned, you "shipped" two packages, one without valid tracking and one late (if you did the add a package after the scheduled ship by date).

I just saw it was apparentlyauto corrected. Its now showing my package had tracking and my score was restored. Apparentlythe Add a Package worked as Etsy instructed.

Hard to really know without being able tonspeak to anyone.

I was almost not going to add a package.

I wish there was someone at Etsy I could speak to correct this.

I actually shipped very fast and it was delivered on time. This stinks!

Etsy will take the position that it is your responsibility to make sure that the tracking number is valid (or corrected within 72 hours) and an invalid tracking number equals shipped without tracking. And Etsy has stated that they will not manually adjust Star Seller stats.
