Suspended Account
I received a message on the Etsy Seller app saying that my account has been suspended and that after multiple violations or not resolving the issue my shop would be closed. I can’t figure out what part of my shop I need to fix. I haven’t received an email from Etsy with specifics on the subject and there is no way for me to get in contact with someone so they can tell me. I tried to start an appeal for my account and it told me there was nothing on my account for me to appeal. Any tips on what I could do would be so helpful.

Re: Suspended Account
Double-check and see who the message is from. It sounds like a scam. Contact Etsy to get help and report it. If it is a scam that account needs to be shut down.

Re: Suspended Account
When someone tells you your shop is suspended, check. Is your shop suspended?
The answer to that question will inform your next move.

Re: Suspended Account
You have your email address in your banner. Also be wary of people sending you emails directly pretending to be Etsy sending links to reverify anything in your account. Normally they send you a message here asking for your email, but you've already given it to them, so just be careful. Do not click on any links in emails, no matter how authentic they look.

Re: Suspended Account
If the message is not in the "from etsy" section of your inbox (which you have to check on a computer or through the browser—not on the app), then it is a SCAM.
Also, if you are suspended you get a notification on your dashboard. They don't send you a message for important stuff like that.

Re: Suspended Account
You should probably alert Etsy about the scam. Also, with Mother's day around the corner, you may want to tag and add to your title, "Mother's Day gift" on your adorable Mommie and Me beanies.

Re: Suspended Account
Your shop is active, so as others have said, the message you received is likely a scam. On another note, your shop doesn't appear to be finished. You should create an About section to share the inspiration behind your creations and how you go about making those and set up your policies. you should also consider adding more items since only two will not draw many people to your shop. Best to you with your new shop.

Re: Suspended Account
I am asking this in all honesty--do these new sellers not know how to tell if their shop is suspended? I mean all you have to do is look at it! IF it is closed it will have a banner SAYING it is "not currently selling--or is on vacation. I don
't even remember if they tell you that in the TOU. And yes, I did read them --14 years ago-- and try to keep up to date but Etsy changes things back and forth so often it is hard to keep up with all the changes.
