Last week I got an email saying I needed to update my taxpayer settings. I did so, but made a mistake initially and my shop was put into vacation mode automatically. I fixed the issue and my settings were immediately verified (the taxpayer settings page now has the "Good news: We verified your taxpayer information!" banner at the top).
However, my shop is still in vacation mode with no way to turn it off. I wrote to support but never heard back. I've checked my account settings but can't find anything else that may be wrong, and I haven't received any further emails saying I need to update anything.
What else can I do to fix this or get Etsy to respond? I'm losing sales while my shop is in vacation mode. This is intolerable.
My shop has been under the same ein and SSO since inception. I am going to lose business and so much more here and can't even speak to anyone who can help. I do not understand this at all. Please help!

You are not the only one who has problems with Vacation Mode. At least you had a response of some kind. Maybe etsy is trying to collapse its' share price even further by delisting real craftspeople in favour of large resellers.

Hello! I'm currently facing a similar issue after updating my legal name to my married name for tax purposes. It was verified quickly, and the notice on my dashboard says it should be lifted without further action on my part, but it's now been two weeks and it remains in vacation mode. I also similarly have a help ticket open but it has gone without attention for a week now.
Curious if something actually changed for you to reopen your shop? The comments on this thread aren't very conclusive. I'm also very new to the seller community and not sure how else to get help.
I am experiencing the same issue since yesterday. My shop is in vacation mode and have not received any communication as to why this is happening. I updated the requested information several weeks ago. Have submitted a ticket but no response from customer service. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Same issue with me. When I initially set up my shop I had an LLC but they kept telling me they couldn't verify my tax info even though my EIN was valid. I finally got rid of my LLC and updated with my SS which they were able to verify yet they still have my account in Vacation mode. I've had 2 tickets and a phone call, spoken with 3 different people and STILL can't use my account yet they are still charging my listing fees. I can't get anyone to respond to my emails. At this point I'll thinking about just deleting my shop...very unprofessional and horrible customer service.
