Payment Showing as "In Process" – What Should I Do?

Hi everyone,

A customer placed an order and told me she has already made the payment, but I haven’t received it yet. In my Etsy order section, the payment status is still showing as "in process."

Should I wait until the payment is completed, or is it okay to ship the product now? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

ALWAYS wait to ship until after the payment is successfully processed.  Sometimes payments are denied by the payment processor, such as when credit card fraud is detected or suspected.   Rarely, some payments can be denied later after being initially approved, so many Etsy sellers wait until the day after a payment has been received before shipping, especially for high value items like yours.
