Yesterday I completed a few orders. All with tracking numbers. This morning star seller is saying 6 packages are missing tracking. I wondering what happened. I go to my completed orders and filter by no tracking. No orders come up and I checked every order I did last night and I very since one has tracking. I don’t understand why star seller is saying there is none
@tailoredCrochet: "I go to my completed orders and filter by no tracking." Based on other posts in this forum, this filtering has been broken for some time. You need to check the applicable CSV file on your Star Seller page to see what Etsy thinks is late or otherwise has something wrong with it. In particular make sure that *Had processing time?* = yes, *Ship by* has a date, *Tracking/label date* has a date, and *Shipped on time?* = yes. Remember that Star Seller dates / times are in UTC not your time zone.
If the shipping company is supported by Etsy make sure that the shipped date, tracking number and shipping company show correctly on the actual order. Etsy relies on a third party vendor for tracking (and tracking number validation) and uses the data on the order. Does the actual order show as at least "in transit"? Has the package been scanned? Sometimes a tracking number cannot be validated until after the first scan is publicly available. An unsupported shipping company or invalid / unverified tracking number equals shipped without tracking.
Hello,
I have the same problem, and fighting with Etsy support for weeks. I was even dropped out from Star Seller program, which means I have litereally no sales.
The problem for me is that Etsy cannot track Netherlanden Post's packages well. Even if I did everything right, since this October I see problems with tracking, they are informing my customers about wrong delivery dates.
Etsy support keeps saying that I have to buy shipping labels from Etsy (which is not supported in Hungary at all).
I am trying to encourage all weople with the same problem to start reporting these problems to Etsy, since they not care about this at the moment,
Take a screenshot of your orders and tracking numbers and contact Etsy, just wondering is this from another shop as your shop only seems to sell digital. (other shops have to be mentioned in your shop)
In addition, I am pretty sure apart from it being rather tacky that asking for tips will get your shop closed down as it is against the rules. You may also want to check the description on that listing as it mentions you are 98 years old and thinking of starting a family, I know science has come along way but having babies at 98?
If the tip jar doesn't do it, then maybe the trademarked/copyrighted characters such as Paul the Platypus and others will.
Forgot to mention the Not Handmade "handmade" stitch markers.
Sorry, I don't get it what are you talking about.
My shop is selling physical products. I am having conversation with Etsy support, sent them screenshots, and discussed all ways that the packages were sent in the right way, and tracking numbers are also perfect. Their system cannot recognize it. That's it. Other sellers are also having the same problem.
I am trying everything to make it resolved. In November I had good sales (with Star Seller program), but this month I have NOTHING. My business was destroyed by this. I am selling Christmas decorations, and every year, December was the best. I did not change anything, I am using the exact sale shipping carrier, same type of tracking, which was all since 'till October.
In October I started reporting problems with tracking, and since then, no one came back with any resolution.
As this is not your thread I was not replying to you
@CryzalisDesigns I was just about to post something similar about the digital downloads then noticed the Stitch markers. I missed the bit about being 98 and nearly choked on my coffee hahaha.
@tailoredCrochet customers need to know exactly what they will receive so your mystery listing Stitch markers may also cause you problems, and I agree about the tip listing it needs removing.
If you added tracking on time, its the correct shipper, check this in your order details as there have been posts about it changing, especially with EU sellers of it changing to Fedex or similar, it happened to me a few times but I caught it within the 3 days.
As above contact support from the store manager - help - contact us.
@grabacoffee posters are replying to the OP not your post, by the way I reported this issue to Etsy as well, they replied and escalated the problem to the tech team, a lot of sellers think they are reporting the problem when they post in the forums and do not realise they need to contact Etsy directly.
