Star Seller says one late shipment but it was due for shipment on Labor Day.

Can't ship on Labor Day so will it be adjusted? Shipped next day cause Post Office was closed.

Do you mean looking at next month, and it shows the percentage down for next month due to late shipment?

I have one because I used a regular postage stamp to ship. Happens a lot due to what sells. Can't use labels in Canada for envelopes.

Yes I meant next month. But it is not the end of the world. I have had Star Seller and bunch of months and a couple that I didn't make it (due to not answering an email that didn't require a response). 

I know that low cost items make it tough to reach Star seller without spending too much on postage.

If the item is under 25 CAD you can ship without tracking.  If over 25 CAD the item needs tracking no matter the shipping.  

You need to mark the order complete in a certain way which I don't know what it is.  It might be a drop down or you might need to use Other.

No, it won't be adjusted. Etsy doesn't take into consideration US holidays or any country's holidays. The proper thing to do in that instance is to either extend your ship by date or your processing times beforehand.

Etsy has never accounted for holidays, Etsy expects sellers to know about their own postal holidays in their own countries or regions, and are adjust as needed.  There are two tools:

1. Adjust your turnaround time prior to the holiday to allow for the extra day
2. Change the ship-by date after the order is placed to account for the holiday

Both work.  The US has 11 postal holidays, the next is Monday, October 10th.  Mark them on your calendar, add a notification to your computer or phone, or do all 3.  Whatever you need to not forget to adjust it.

Unfortunately, you have to "adjust" that up front before shipping by pushing the ship date out if you see it landed on a holiday. They don't do it for you. They won't fix it.  US we still have Columbus Day and Veterans Day and Thanksgiving and Christmas Day coming up.

Ya, even though Etsy is a billion dollar company and every other selling platform can account for all holidays.  Etsy is just another cheap outperformed platform that can’t spend the money it makes on actual business sense.  Instead they go to plaid and make other excuses with our money and don’t know how to sustain growth.

@MandisAtticToyz   Other venues can account because they have divided up the world.  Amazon has 7 or 8 venues.  Same with the others.  Etsy has never divided up Etsy as the others have.  

And what holidays would you pick?  What if a holiday not chosen upsets the people in that country?  One reason Etsy stuck to the business week and ignored holidays.  It's a sellers responsibility and always has been to account for holidays.
