Shipping score

Yesterday I sent an item within my dispatch time frame, but unfortunately was unable to mark it as shipped on the same day meaning my Etsy account deemed the item as being dispatched late. You can see on the tracking number that the item was infact shipped within the correct time frame, but this now means I'll lose my star seller status as this made me just below 95% on time dispatch, is there any way this can be fixed so I don't lose it? It's the only item I have labeled as late.

Unfortunately there is no way to change it now or have it changed. The system registers it from the point you click complete and enter the details

Where did you buy the shipping labels?

Over the counter - you need to manually mark the order completed and enter the tracking number. There's no way to mark it dispatched retroactively.

Click & Drop (Integrated with Etsy) - Now automatically marks orders as completed when the shipping label is scanned at the PO/on collection. (I think there's a slight delay so you can still manually mark it dispatched too).

Etsy labels - I don't know how this works but perhaps it also knows when the label is scanned?

I'm afraid you will have to use this as a learning experience. Going forwards you can use the Etsy seller app or browser on your phone to mark orders as completed when you are out and about.

We are not even half way through July, so if you get more orders before the end of the month (and you mark them dispatched on time) then your dispatch rate could go back up again in time for the next SS review.

@ClaybySarahUK: Unfortunately there is nothing that can be done. While it is not explicitly stated, an order needs to be shipped and marked as completed on or before the scheduled to ship by date. That is why you cannot back date the completed / shipped date.
