I haven't seen any posts less than 11 hours old, and wanted to report that ShipStation is still not syncing for me.
Hello,
Please check this thread for the most recent updates.
In case the link does not work, copy and paste the following URL: https://community.etsy.com/t5/Technical-Issues/FIX-IN-PROGRESS-Third-Party-Integration-difficulty-co...
Thanks.
Same!
Same....
same
Yep
i found a solution!!
in shipstation go to settings,
under Import Orders go to Selling Channels
by the etsy store select the 3 dots action
choose Edit an existing marketplace
fill your Username go find my shop hit connect and there you go
I'm glad it worked for you but that was the very fist thing I tried right away. Been getting the same message since yesterday: Request failed with status code 404
Thanks for the info. I did not find success in that solution.
I followed to the '3 dots action', but don't see an "Edit existing marketplace". I do see "Edit Marketplace Connection". There is found a "request failed with status code 404" error.
Going to edit existing connection and reauthorizing SS to access Etsy is what worked for me.
I lost my connection to Shipstation on Wednesday and after multiple attempts to reconnect I keep getting this message "Store Configuration
We received an error from Etsy: The remote server returned an error: (404) Not Found."
So clicking those three dots does not always work.
Still does not work. Has anyone deleted ETSY and then added back.
@TheFreshener Not working here either, including notifications for orders shipped today
Same here. It's been 14 hours and no forum update on the "lingering issues" and "No incidents reported today" still on Etsy's Status page. ShipStation has been my only source for helpful information about Etsy's issue.
The lack of communication is both disappointing and concerning.
What is everyone going to do until the problem is solved?
I'm thinking either go to USPS to ship orders, then manually enter tracking numbers in Etsy. Or manually enter orders into ShipStation so all my reporting is correct.
Any other ideas?
Just got our connection working again after repeated use of the "Edit Marketplace Connection" in ShipStation. It had been giving the repeated 404 error, but this morning I was able to enter my username and password and recreate the connection. I did not have to delete the Etsy Store Setup. Its possible I entered something incorrect along the way and it reset/dropped my old connections settings allowing me to refresh the correct info.... Good luck!
This isn't a "difficulty" as they are claiming. They messed things up forcing sellers to use Etsy Labels. Etsy makes money off each label purchased on their site...so why fix it. Why rush to fix something when making money from the "issue".
You don't have to use Etsy labels. You can always copy and paste the shipping address to any shipping platform and obtain your label there for USA sellers. Not sure about elsewhere. Of course you would have to manually update the tracking info for each order shipped but where there is a will, there is a way.
same.
My integration came back up on shipstation this morning CST. I looked at my integrations on the Etsy side last night and only pirate ship was listed. I just looked and all of my integrations, about 7, are back up and working. Just fyi
I think it's just random. We are still down. But I agree about the shipping label statement you mentioned. We are still going that route because honestly paying an average of $15 for shipping is still way better than paying the $28 through Etsy labels.
@PrintsxCharming You can always use goshippo or pirate ship without additional charges. Or there may be a "per label charge" of about $.30 per label. Either way, don't go to usps.com or the post office. They will charge you retail rates.
You're right. Way higher rates.
my shipstation is working. I had to reconnect it on the shipstation end.
That's awesome!
Did you edit the existing store, or re-add the store?
When I attempt to edit the existing store there is an error message.
edit the existing store. Only took a minute once Etsy was back up.
