Serious Etsy Issue

Hello everyone,

Unfortunately, over the past three weeks, I've encountered a very negative experience with Etsy. Initially, three of my bestsellers were blocked due to an alleged violation of "creativity standards." However, I am confident that I have not violated any rules, as these are my own designs, and I've been selling them on Etsy for over a year without issue.

After this block, I started researching online to see if large sellers from China had copied my products, and sure enough, I found my products on Alibaba, with my photos—including my company's watermark—being used without permission. They've even used photos from my customers' reviews, which were originally posted on Etsy. I also discovered my products on Amazon, where my images are similarly being used without my consent.

I've tried contacting Etsy, but without any meaningful response. The replies I receive seem automated, and no clear explanation has been given. To make matters worse, my Star Seller status was revoked, and whenever I try to post new listings, they are immediately blocked.

Has anyone else experienced similar issues, and how did you resolve them? I'm concerned that my store could be shut down entirely. It's disheartening that Etsy has not responded to my messages, and my sales are now severely restricted.

I would greatly appreciate any advice or assistance.

Happened to me too. Exactly the same thing. I contacted the chat. The customer service agent said that there is nothing they can do. Tried to email, got back only the automated reply, nothing else. I opened a discussion here, like you did. Customer service agent came and closed. They promised that I will be contacted by a correct team to resolve this issue. Hasn't happened yet. Still waiting and super anxious.

Can’t offer any solutions but can say I watched a couple of YouTube reports that suggest the number of listings Etsy is removing are into the millions, many of them legitimately due to copyright, trademark, infringement of rules etc but many are just unlucky to be caught in the avalanche of problem listings most of which are identified by AI and Etsy seemingly have far too few humans to review everything. There are also numerous posts on the forums daily saying the same as you, some from frustrated shop owners who have waited days / weeks and got no response

I didnt look at what you sell but my suggestion would be to diversify your sales channels if you haven’t already
