Sale Showing But Not There

Hi all!  In my Shop Overview on the Dashboard page shows a sale for today with the dollar amount.  However, I can't find it.  It's not listed under Recent Activity.  It's not in my Current Orders.  It's not in my Finances page. 

The total Sale count in my Shop did calculate another sale.

Anyone else have this happen?  Maybe the payment is waiting to go through?

I'd hate to not fulfill an order in a timely manner if it is a real order. However, it's not there to fulfill.  Yikes!

I am having the same issue. It is not under orders or pending...shows as sold but no sale information. Perhaps a glitch? Hopefully it gets resolved, I am sure we are not  the only 2 shops experiencing this issue. To clarify, it shows on dashboard as a sale, and under shows when you click on total number of sale items, but the number of sales did not change.

OMG yes me to - I have 48 orders that weren't even an actual order - I emailed etsy support. I could not cancel these at all. I sell digital files so the order was there but not processed and the download stated not available so I feel maybe this was some kind of hacking

I have SAME THING ! contacted  with etsy support team and they said  i need to wait 24 hours ..

So now we need to wait 24 hours to see what we sold and who we sold it too ??!! Ridiculous! Maybe if they stopped playing around with this site by changing shop layouts, fonts, etc. every day  -- normal business functions would work correctly!

UPDATE:  Just got off the phone with an Etsy rep. She told me that now we need to wait 72 hours before it is considered a "tech issue".

I am having a similar problem.  Stats show I had 5 sales today.  Open orders shows I had 3 sales today.  Two of the three sales show not paid. Only received payment for the one order.  I as well do not want to be in a situation were I will be late on fulfilling orders.

@heartfeltgiver: The scheduled ship by date will not be calculated until the order is marked as paid by Etsy.

“The scheduled ship by date will not be calculated until the order is marked as paid by Etsy” Not true. I asked etsy support today and they confirmed the countdown to shipping starts from when the buyer places an order , not when it is marked paid.

I called on the phone today and the rep told me the exact opposite of what they told you. She told me the "countdown to shipping" starts when the order shows up in our order/shipping section with an invoice. Just goes to show you that you can't count on getting accurate information from customer support.

And how are we supposed to ship it when we can't even see who purchased it and the shipping address ??? And yet, no response from Etsy as to when this will be fixed or even if they are working on it! Ridiculous!

They more or less agreed it was silly without actually saying it but she went off a couple of times to check info and confirmed it starts as soon as the buyer buys but if it processes before shipping date we can change shipping date. I then asked but what if it's on or after the shipping date she then went off to check once more and came back telling me we would not be able to change the date but possibly the order would get canceled and never actually prices so then there would be no problem. Grate when etsy tells you the best outcome is if the order never completes.

Geez, talk about conflicting information! I just wish they would fix the problem so we could see our orders and mail them out. They better not "ding" us if we ship late because they don't have this fixed in time!

Well, just got off the phone with a different rep. (not the one I talked to this morning). I called back to ask if Etsy was working on the problem since all we are getting in the forums is silence!

She is telling me the problem is on PayPal's end. Hmm, wondering if that is correct --- or has the "blame game" begun.

Anyway, while I had her on the phone I asked about when the "countdown to shipping" starts and she said the exact same thing the rep this morning told me -- that not to worry -- the shipping countdown begins once we can actually "see" the order with the invoice. So we shall see .......

@SilverandEarth: As a survivor of the payment processing fiasco several years ago, and a few "pending" orders since then, our experience is that the scheduled ship by date is calculated on when Etsy releases the order as "paid" to the seller.

This happened to me today. Only 1 order though. I have no notification at all on my activity feed but the dashboard shows the dollar amount. When I go to orders it says the payment is still being processed and may take between 72 hours - 5 days!

@SaveTheForest  Sorry to hear you are experiencing this "glitch" too. It appears that Etsy is doing NOTHING to fix this, even though it's been going on for a week. (or maybe longer ... who knows when it first started).

Same here. It has been showing that I have 6 orders, but only 2 of the orders came through.
