We are reaching out to request your assistance with an issue we are facing while accessing buyer email addresses from order details using the Etsy API. Currently, we are utilizing the API with a personal access token and have enabled the following scopes for authentication:
listings_r,
transactions_r,
billing_r,
email_r,
address_r,
cart_r
Despite enabling these scopes, we noticed that recent changes to Etsy's permissions now restrict access to buyer email addresses. This field is critical for our shipping flow, and the inability to retrieve it is impacting our operations.
Could you please confirm if there is any workaround or process available to regain access to buyer email addresses? If additional permissions or changes are required, we would greatly appreciate your guidance on how to proceed.
