I refunded an order in my shop, but it never canceled. The order was still showing on the app on my phone so I canceled it again. Because of this my star seller badge was dinged for April.
I am not sure what happened with this order, but canceling first will take care of the refund & cancellation at the same time.
The seller app is very glitchy... maybe in the future, do the important tasks on a web browser. Most don't use the seller app except to get notified of orders right away.

@TurtleCreekCreation: "... so I canceled it again" If it was marked as cancelled after the scheduled ship by date, then for Star Seller it is considered as shipped (completed) late.
It sounds like you refunded but did not cancel the first time. You can refund and not cancel, but you cannot cancel without refunding. Using a browser at least, there is a one stop cancel option under <More Actions> which will also process the refund.
