I'm seeing a red info banner in my shop, that says that my bank account could not be verified, because I didn't pay the small amount, and therefore can't accept any new sales.
My account is verified! I paid the little amount a long time ago!
There is a link "want to sell here again? Verify your bank account."
What is going on?
Is this a bug, has anybody had this before??

Just discovered my shop also has the banner. I have been here since 2013 . Not asked for verification lately.
Glad to find this thread ! My shop has the banner, but my bank account is verified when I click the link. I don't think it can affect sales, I tried to add an item in cart "from outside" and it worked, asking me if I want to proceed with the order. End of panic !!
This better not be some sort of 'cyber incident ' like that of royal mail.
I still have orders waiting to be shipped internationally and thankfully understanding customers.
Can you even imagine!!! Think the last couple of weeks has taught us how vulnerable everything is!
Same! When I click ''go to payment setting" it shows verified, because it is! UK (England) based.

It definitely seems that way - I got my husband to log on to Etsy and attempt to buy something from me to check you could and you can!
I also in a panic, ran spybot and a antivirus scan, changed my password and added a mobile authenticator.
I'm not paranoid about cyber attacks, honest
but it seems to be a scam
I think it's just an error on etsy's system. If it was a scam it would be asking you to go to a dodgy website or phone a number.
Etsy said to me they are aware of a technical issue and the technical team is looking into it.
So, the best will be to relax and wait until they resolve it.

How do you get the chat line? it used to be easy to find and was on my shop.
Same, although trying to see the positive always that i may be learning new things (it doesnt always work though haha)
I keep going through the help options until it says 'still need help' then it gives me the option of call back or chat box. Although the call back wasn't available this morning.
I did see something once that said its now only an option for Star Seller? Not sure if there is any truth in that.
