Red banner in my shop, that my shop is closed, bank account not verified!

I'm trembling.

I'm seeing a red info banner in my shop, that says that my bank account could not be verified, because I didn't pay the small amount, and therefore can't accept any new sales.

My account is verified! I paid the little amount a long time ago! 

There is a link "want to sell here again? Verify your bank account."

What is going on?

Is this a bug, has anybody had this before??

Same here, but I checked my bank account before entering anything and found a payment on 22nd November for £6.32 from ADYEN. 

58 days ago. 

So I'm wondering if this is it. 

My account is showing verified so I'll just wait it out for a few days. 

Payments have been going in as normal.

Logged on to find a red banner slapped across my dashboard:

"Unfortunately, your shop has been suspended since your bank account wasn’t verified"

Seeing other chats, it seems this is an error on Etsy's behalf ?

However, it is quite distressing, since I thought it could be a scam and/or my account had been hacked into; and even more annoying that I was unable to find a support contact email to send the screen shot to; I just kept getting sent round in circles. This is poor.

What's the direct route for contact, do you know please ?!?

What a relief!!! I thought mine was the only one AND I was going around in circles trying to find a way to get in touch! SO glad I came here and saw that others were having the same issue

Another day, another technical issue! I had to contact them at the weekend about my shop and was told no issue, then get an email 2 days later saying actually, yes your shop does have a technical issue and we are working on it - no further details, no clue whats happening,  meanwhile my etsy shop is dying a very quick death in front of my very eyes.

I would strongly suggest that everyone check their shop payment account to be sure there are no discrepancies.
Also confirm that your account still indicates it has been verified, info. on file, etc. Glitches can at times cause other glitches.

Red banner gone but account saying not verified (I'm not a new account , I've been here for 11 years) and no way of adding a deposit amount to verify account.  Tearing my hair out!

@TremoughGlass  - Starting last year Etsy was requiring all US shops to verify their accounts. It didn't make any difference how long the shop had been here. Has something to do with new banking regulations.

The following is a link to Etsy's article on verification. Scroll down a bit for non-US shops. I thought UK/EU shops had to do this some time ago, but not really sure:

@AnnaleasFinest   I'm glad this is resolved for you and others who were having the same problem. I went into my Account upon seeing your Thread (no problems).

Quite frankly I'm concerned about the increase in Threads we've seen having to do with verification issues and Hacked Accounts (on a daly basis practically).  So a glitch such as this makes me a bit twitchy.  And I agree with @StudioSkullShop; an Announcement was greatly needed and would have been much appreciated.
