Rating error

Hi a recent review dropped our overall average rating to 4.7 from 4.8. The review was then removed 4 days ago but my rating is still 4.7 and not back to 4.8. I’ve had no reviews since to change this

I have spoken to an Etsy colleague who confirmed it’s showing 4.8, however it’s still 4.7 on our dashboard and more importantly when seeing our products on Etsy shop amongst other listings.

I have signed in and out again but still showing same issue. Please help

Thanks, I am aware of this, but this was a suggestion made by an Etsy support person

It's best to stick to one thread otherwise you will be going round in circles.

Your rating is constantly changing as old reviews drop off (because they are older than 12 months). That means your low reviews which are more recent will have a greater impact on your overall shop rating. You will just have to sell more and get more 5 star reviews to counteract the low ones.

The OP lost 4 5-star ratings from Feb 2024 that just dropped off within this past week.  The rating might increase a little when the 1-star rating from 3/1/24 drops off.

Yes I know, however it doesn’t make sense that the review which Brought the rating lower in question has now been removed, so it doesn’t make sense that the rating hasn’t changed back to how it was

Your score must be 4.8 because you have Star Seller which is only awarded for 4.8 and above. 

As mentioned, your stars might fill up again once the 1 star falls off in March.
