Change Email with google account login

Hi, I'm trying to change the email address that is associated with my account. When I go to do this Etsy prompts me to enter my Etsy password. I use my google account to login and don't have an Etsy password.

I have tried to search for a resolution and have come up dry. Even entering my google password does not work. Any assistance would be amazing, thank you.

I wanted to let anyone know that if they are having the same problem, here is the fix. Sign out, and click forgot password. An email with be sent to you, and then you can change the password. Then log in with that password and use it to change your email address. Remember, when you change your email address, that is your new sign-on email address with the new password. You NO longer sign In by clicking the Google Sign In button.

The problem for me is that I am trying to change my email because the original email is down - so sending the change link to the email won't work.  Anyone else have a work around?
