On scarves my processing time is set to 1-3 business days. I sold a few scarves on Friday June 23rd and it is claiming it won't ship till July 7th? That is 10 business days not including the day it was bought. Why does it say that?
Was it the red knit 74 inch scarf? That one has a 1 - 2 week processing time. Others I checked say 1 - 2 days -- didn't check them all.
I changed the shipping to 1-2 days before the last one sold (sometimes it is made to order) and it seems to be reverting to its previous made to order setting.
I have had this problem for months and have been in contact with Etsy for months. Unfortunately, mine is the other way around where it is stating an item will ship sooner than I have it set to in my settings. Their answer is that it is an ongoing problem but has not been fixed since I first contacted them in May. Which I think is just unacceptable, Just wondering if you contacted support and what response you may have gotten.
I discovered that when I changed the shipping profile, I saved it on the new listing page, which did not retain the changes. It looks like it saves it, but it did not really do that.
Now I'm getting items that say they will be late even though they are shipping days earlier than stated.
Make sure you don't have weekends enabled, as Etsy opted people into processing on weekends, and you have to turn it off.
