My email box is overloaded with spam from Etsy! They keep sending me notifications every minute! I have like 60 or more of these messages now!

I turned off all of your email notifications (specifically those related to the Community Forums), as this is the root cause of the issue you're experiencing. Feel free to re-activate whichever ones you want, however. You can also de-activate them again if the issue comes back.
Edit: Since you're already being assisted by Support, and this does not seem to be an issue other members are experiencing, we're closing this thread now.

Could you be more specific? What kinds of emails, exactly, are you receiving?
Every single one of them has the subject: A reply to a topic you are following has been accepted as a solution
I have not made any changes to my notifications. So my guess is that Etsy is doing something that is messing something up
