Hi there,
My Etsy store is synched to my Printful account.
I want to list T shirts on Etsy. At the Printful end, the size options show as S,M,L and XL. When I add the product to my Etsy store from Printful, the resulting Etsy draft listing shows the size options as some weird US letter size - this means nothing to my UK customers.
So in Etsy, I changed the size variants and chose UK kids. But when I do this, Printful can't synch it. Also, the size variation it defaults to 'US letter' has nothing to do with t shirts or clothing, so why is it doing this?
Do I have to use Printful's weird US sizes on my Etsy listing in order for it to all synch correctly?
Please help!

US letter size means nothing in relationship to a shirt. Not even in the US.
US letter size = for example M meaning medium, for a US size. As opposed to US Number (or Numerical) Size. [Letters vs Numbers]
As US sizes are different to UK, EU and others, a US M is a different size to a UK M.
Thank you for this explanation. It was driving me crazy wondering why all of my shirt/sweatshirt sizes coming from Printful all have "US Letter Size" after the size. That is extremely confusing as "letter size" is usually always associated with PAPER not clothing. Moreover, this doesn't appear anywhere in Printful, and I don't see it on any other t-shirt listings outside of my store. And no wonder why Etsy wasn't getting back to me!
"a US M is a different size to a UK M."
No, it is not different.
All that any SML system means is that M is bigger than S for that particular garment product from that particular manufacturer.
SML sizing can vary between products within manufacturers.
It is totally arbitrary and not standardised.

@Former_Member: This sounds like a question better asked of Printful.
