We put your shop on pause

I have my store since 2022 without any issues. However, when I tried to update my legal shop information for tax purposes, I was unable to save or verify the changes. 

Before making changes to my account, I had heard of similar incidents, so to be on the safe side, I contacted Etsy support chat, asking them to confirm if there would be any problems. And they assured me that everything was fine.

While making Legal tax changes (Change from individual to business), I received the message "We were unable to verify the business information you entered."

Soon my store was accidentally put into vacation mode, without any explanation. I tried to ask support chat, but no one answered, finally the chat support function was disabled for my store, also without any explanation.

We worked honestly for a long time, but now we feel cheated by ETSY!!

Can anyone help with advice?

Has anyone experienced this issue before? How can I get this resolved?

Have you uploaded documentation to reflect the changes?   Your documents need to match exactly with what you have entered in the Legal & Tax Information section.  

Go to Shop Manager - Finances - Legal & Tax Information. 

To be honest, Etsy chat cannot solve problems like this nor give advice so it is better to send an email.  Your shop was not accidentally put into vacation mode, this is what Etsy does while the information is being verified.

How long ago did you make the changes and when was your shop put in vacation mode?
