It's been 3 weeks since I submitted a help desk ticket because my seller taxpayer info is incorrect and the system will not accept the correct information. My shop was forced into vacation mode and this is a horrible time of year to be losing sales. I periodically respond to the help desk ticket saying that I still need help with the issue but...nothing. Is there any other way to contact support or get them to respond? I'd really like to reopen my shop!
@LittlePuddletown: Since the verification standards were much much lower ten years ago, it is possible that what you entered then does not exactly match what is on the IRS records but was acceptable at that time.
The "Name of Legal Entity" must include both lines on your SS-4. For example "Store Name LLC FirstName LastName Sole MBR"

The only thing I ever had to submit for my taxpayer info is my SSN. Did you enter it incorrectly?
My SSN is entered and verified, but it keeps saying the business name and EIN don't match the IRS records. Except that's been the same business name and EIN since 2014. Nothing has changed. Anything I try to enter is rejected.

Did you ask for a call back? Do they not do this anymore?
Etsy Support is only through email now. I'm trying to get an issue resolved, and it has been a week of emails without a solution. Very slow response time. Very frustrating.
When you got to Submit a request for help, you can't request Etsy to call you. They say support is 24/7, but response time is 1-2 days:

I am having the SAME ISSUE! It's been since beginning of October for me! I have sent a message almost every day but have zero response. When I try to use the option where they can text or call you, all of the labels on the screen are "Null" so it won't accept my phone number. There is absolutely NO WAY to contact support and I am BEYOND frustrated. I don't know what else to do at this point.
Well, I have been waiting for 55 days for any response. Not even 'Mod Fabio' will respond and move my comments somewhere else. It appears that Etsy can't help it's customers who bring in the $$. Good Luck!

I’m having the same problems it seems as everyone else, I’m based in the Uk but shop WheatBagHeaven now in holiday mode and I had nearly £1700 on hold, they refunded it all back to customers including postage so out of pocket over £2000, they said my shop will close 3rd February unless I verify id details, I’ve uploaded these and seems to be verified, every time I go to shop it asks me to upload documents again, I think the link is broken? Obviously something is not working plus the contact page keeps looping so can’t actually talk or email anyone either. So frustrating and I loose everything
I’m sorry you’re dealing with this. It IS incredibly frustrating. I would still be spinning my wheels if not for the forums so that’s the only other option, I think. Now I’m waiting for one document to be verified so who knows how long that will take.
I'm having a similar issue. I need to change my email address but don't have access to my old email, so I need Etsy help to do it. Etsy put my shop on Vacation Mode and is now just ghosting me. So frustrating! I just tried to post in the forums about this to get help or advice. Etsy responded to that post within 9 minutes! They said that response times will "vary" and help with come to me directly via Email 🤦
They messaged me back after I posted this and verified me and removed my shop from vacation mode. Good luck you guys!

Hi you guys! I am currently in the same situation, we have been waiting for over a month now to get responses, and even though the information uploaded has been correct and with the required documents they need from us (which I have uploaded as well) we don't get any response.
I'm in the same situation, no response whatsoever, can no longer conduct a chat either. Tickets and requests have gone unanswered. Following to see if there is any solution.
