For everyone having difficulty copying / pasting tags using the new Listing Form, It is possible to do this (I have used Chrome, Edge and Firefox) but it is a bit "fiddly"
It is all about cursor placement. Go to the first or last "grey bubble". Do not place the cursor inside the bubble / next to the first or last letter in the Tag. Make sure the cursor is just outside the "bubble" (to the right of the right edge for the last letter in the last Tag or to the left of the left edge of the first letter in the first Tag. Then yu can highlight and drag the cursor left to right/top to bottom or right to left/bottom to top.
But be careful of placing the cursor anywhere the X as the Tag will be deleted.
Copy the 13 Tags into a Word Document, then edit this to make a running list of tags separated by a comma (Tag1,Tag2,Tag3). Copy this runing list and reverse the copying process to paste into a new listing.
@CarpetCollectionAU yeah I use firefox on a laptop, doesn't work for me no matter where I start. @TBQSC shared doing it via quick edit and it's much quicker.
Thank-you. I have used "Quick Edit" in the past but did not realize that there is no need to create a new "running list" if all Tags you want to copy are the same.
Using "Quick Edit" it is possible to just highlight/copy Tags from one Listing and paste directly into another Listing. Any Tags which need to be changed can then be corrected.
Just to add - if you are struggling for new keyword ideas and the listing you're copying is active, open it in a private window. 9/10 when I do that, Etsy has one of their 'quirky' tests going where they've added a bunch of tags. Many of them are irrelevant but I've still found some good ideas in there.
Et oui avec leur nouveau logiciel de fiche produit, on ne peut plus copier et coller mais tu peux quand même te débrouiller en cliquant en dessous faisant attention de ne pas cliquer dessus dessus. Sinon effectivement ça supprime mais tu cliques un peu à côté. Après tu tu tu colles enfin c’est pas évident vraiment leur nouvelle application une catastrophe
Update: I noticed yesterday that I can now copy and paste tags in the new listing form. It also didn't delete the tag when I clicked inside the bubble. I had tried every possible way before and couldn't get it to work so etsy must have changed something. Hope it works for others too!
