Hi,
Does anyone know why my listings would disappear from the US search?? I do ship to the US but my listings aren't showing, only 1 or 2 of them. My listings were all at the top for a specific keyword, now they are no where to be found. I noticed this because over the last 2 days my views/clicks went to nothing. Even new listings are not showing up.
The only thing I could think of, was the fact that I switched shipping from free to a small price for a couple days to test. I switched it back because I panicked after everything disappeared. But a couple of my listings affected by the shipping change are still showing.. so I have no clue if that's it.
When I search in Canada my items come up as usual.
I'm just so confused. I'm still relatively new to Etsy but one of my products was starting to get popular and was ranking consistently on page 1 of search and I'd regularly check it in a private tab to see how it was doing, so this really bums me out.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks everyone!

Etsy gives new shops a boost, so yours may now be over. I suggest you ask for a Shop Critique since there are some things you can fix that can improve visibility.
Hey, Thank you! My listings started showing back up again so it was just a fluke it seems.. I knew about the initial boost so I was expecting a drop, but man it was just all of a sudden I was getting no views at all. My best seller was actually making really good sales, so it was ranking organically. Thankfully it's back up and getting favourites/views again! Also thank you for the tip, I will definitely do that!
some things to remember about Etsy search:
shipping price is a search factor, but changing it back quickly should usually fix the small impact.
@UNSEENTAROT: "The only thing I could think of, was the fact that I switched shipping from free to a small price for a couple days to test." Etsy does so much tweaking and testing that it is very dangerous to make cause and effect correlations without more concrete facts. It is just as likely to have been a coincidence. It is very difficult to test anything on a shop level because you don't know if some Etsy change has skewed your results.
