Very frustrated, I had a customer who give me a one star review due to no fault of mine. Her box was damaged in transit and she just give a one star until I resolve the issue. I wrote her upon her contacting me and advised I will replace the product but she couldn't wait until the transaction was over and give the one star until she received the replacement( don't think she trusted me even though alot of my reviews state how responsive to customer). Because of that one star my rating dropped but then she went back in and changed it to 5 star however DID ANYONE NOTICE ONCE SOMETHING LIKE THIS HAPPENS ETSTY NEVER GOES BACK AND RECAL YOUR STAR RATINGS.
Interested in hearing what others have to say regarding this matter. I am going to call Etsy tomorrow morning but then their customer service since going overseas is just useless.
Thank you
It won't do any good to call Etsy. The company will not change anything.
I am aware of this but I am going to try
the star ratings do change when feedback is changed. I know this from my own experience.
are you talking about the feedback from today? it's still one star.
Yes tge rating was on Nov 14th and then it was changed to 5 star but my rating never went back up
Sorry that was another customer. The other one star working to fix it as it was the courier who damaged it. That cust never contacted me. Just posted that review. Didn't even bother to open the package to see if the content was damaged
Yes, that buyer did increase the stars, but then you received another 1 star review along with a 4 star one.
No the 4 star was already there and the other one star which should have never happened as it was damaged by the courier. Not sure why customers blame us. But it's our world.
@TodInc: Star Seller stats are not live and seem to update once per day. It may take a day or two for the stats to recalculate.
Your reply to the 4* customer will not earn you any points. Billy Jacobs has a website selling his art. Is his art open to the public selling it. I know WalMart does but I would assume that this is something his gallery negotiated with them.
