Bonjour,
Est ce que quelqu'un a reçu le même message que moi de la part d'ETSY me demandant une adresse mail pour me transmettre un formulaire relatif à une commande ?
Je me demande si c'est vrai ou s'il s'agit d'une arnaque.

SCAM!
That is the latest scam and they are a bit out of control. I have received it or variations of it at least 50 times now. (I stopped counting)
Its definitely a scam and shoppers absolutely do not need your email address to make a purchase. If they sent you screenshots of etsy pages saying otherwise those are fake pages they created for their scam. See this thread for more info and links to photos of the fake pages.

The incredible thing about these types of scams is that Etsy is doing absolutely nothing to inform sellers about them. A message on the Shop Manager Dashboard would put sellers on alert.

Yes this is a SCAM, they have contacted me over 10 times now via Etsy and my email with the same scam, I even communicated with them where they asked me to make a payment to verify my business was legit (obviously then I realised they were trying to scam me were upon I let them know that I knew they were scammers, then they replied in an asian script language 2 times then english telling me they **** my mother! (that tells you everything about them) and that they already scammed some idiots out of 1600€ that day (Im sure they are full of lies, they are just like a child!) even after the comunication they send me the same enquiry mail with the attachment, they must be stupid. Anyway dont give any details or payments to these scammers. I have only just opened my store (IMAGION) and they were the first interaction I had (nice), unbeknown to them I have been running a Shopify store for over a year now so I'm used to these fools! Take care all and happy selling, dont let these non empathy people bring us down!
De même pour moi encore ce matin…
Esty ne communique pas sur cette arnaque alors que beaucoup de vendeur reçoivent ces mêmes mails ! ou est la protection des vendeurs ?!
Etsy should put a notification on every shop's dashboard.
They did pin a "Scam" thread to the top on one of the forum sections, and update one of their articles, but that is not nearly enough.
The scammers create so many emails using gmail accounts that its impossible for Etsy to access which are real and which are fake, though they seem to be able to find the fake emails quite fast because if I try to reply to these fake emails (in Etsy's mails) after 2 hours it comes up with a message saying the email address does not exist (not sure if its Etsy doing this or something else). I also get many mails in claiming that my Facebook account has been temporarily suspended due to a reported violation of our policies, the message claiming to be from the Meta Team but when you look at the address its a .gmail address (im very sure that the Meta team would not use a .gmail account!) these children are so stupid!
There is not much protection against these scammers that Etsy can offer, but I do agree that they should really be sending everyone a warning about this and any other scams that are happening (this should be done as a matter of urgency all they have to do is send a mail or headline) they are a big company and should be looking after us... their assets, after all without us they make no money. Have a great day all and keep on the ball. Jonathan https://imagion.etsy.com
Etsy have now added an announcement, not very prominent unless you search for it by which time it may be to late.
Oh wow watch out for this one, I think I have received a new scam. I just recieved a mail with an Etsy logo and this text: Hello, dear seller. Welcome to Etsy Technical Support! Your item has been paid for by the buyer, but there was an error processing the order and it cannot be displayed in your personal account, please enter your 𝐞-𝐌𝐚𝐢𝐥 in this chat to receive a form personalized in order to verify your shop. We thank you for your attention. I have not confirmed anything but I will keep you guys informed.
Yep its a Scam, the children think they are clever by using the Etsy logo but they are stupid not to know that all the details for the customer/Etsy in the right hand corner are missing ie: Etsy staff, time, location etc. Watch out for the new tactics of these fools.
The very fact you received an email from Tech Support should be shouting Scam. Do not click on any links.
Thanks for the advice but dont worry, Im not as stupid as these children think I am well I hope not! ;). I asked them why , being Etsy tech support, they dont have my email which they just responded unfortunately we do not, to which I then let them know I knew they were scammers, they have not said a word since even though I sent a couple of messages egging them on!
